Apparently I am a sexist 🙄
For presenting a screenshot of something a male said and letting it speak for itself!

Same guys will cry how they were served divorce papers 'out of the blue' ten years later.

[–]badnewsbroad76FDS Newbie125 points126 points127 points 6 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link
And by "someone else", they meant "woman" obviously..
Oh boy, the secret's out now ladies..those crafty magicians were just pretending to be incompetent the whole time.. who would've ever guessed! Question- Do men not ever worry about women doing a big 'oopsy' while preparing their food?
"So sorry, hun! I..I..thought that was sugar. I didn't mean to use ajax..sheesh..well, I guess I'm just in way over my head and can't be trusted to cook anymore!"
*Edited for typos
[–]ninetiesbaby16FDS Apprentice59 points60 points61 points 6 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link
Where do they all learn to do this? Do their fathers pass it down to them during a coming of age pep talk? Because every woman I know talks about the whole do the job incompetently to get out of housework
[–]SuchBarracudaFDS Newbie48 points49 points50 points 6 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
It starts from childhood... case in point? My 6 year old nephew.
[–]badnewsbroad76FDS Newbie4 points5 points6 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Yep. I've seen it as young as five years old..they never progress past that apparently..
Really? Fuck.
[–]SuchBarracudaFDS Newbie0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
unfortunately not and I believe that it has a lot to do with society's own form of sexism and repeating the cycle of men are bumbling idiots / Kings of their castles, treat them with kiddy gloves. Whereas with my nephew, i look at him like, You are going to be a man and on your own one day, you better learn how to do things and you will not be a burden on another woman if I can help it.
[–]PasdepromessesFDS Newbie6 points7 points8 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
But it still works for them tho
[–]badnewsbroad76FDS Newbie11 points12 points13 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
My nephew tried that on my sister and she nipped it in the bud and kept making him do it over and over until he did it right.. Pfft..and these are the same class of people that are "more logical" and should be put in leadership positions . No wonder the world's a blistering hell hole..
[–]NovemberinthechairFDS Apprentice2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
"...a blistering hellhole..."
You have a way with words.
[–]Gaki-fan-too11 points12 points13 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It probably just comes natural for them
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Could be TV sitcoms, too.

I would at least put the idea in their head in a little "ha ha..just joking" way that they're so fond of doing. *Smiling in Grinch..

Imagine being proud of being useless
[–]Lady_LemuridaeFDS Newbie73 points74 points75 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
"To her desired level of quality" I'm guessing actually meant bare minimum proper job. It's not a fucking rocket science. How incompetent are you to not be able to do a basic life skill properly? And he brags about it.
[–]Saban7164FDS Newbie15 points16 points17 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Right, like it's hard to fuck up doing the laundry, how useless are you? How much do you wanna bet he couldn't even be bothered to separate whites and colours and then when his wife complained that clothes are ruined he moans about her 'level of quality'.
[–]eru378FDS Newbie47 points48 points49 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Sociopath shit
[–]Geocities_SEO_ExpertFDS Newbie82 points83 points84 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
It's all about control, not just being lazy. 😑
[–]thegifthatkeepsonFDS Newbie6 points7 points8 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
TRUTH
[–]an0nnyFDS Apprentice83 points84 points85 points 6 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Instead of taking 5 minutes to do the damn laundry, they'd rather go through all the mental work of manipulating their wife into doing it. It's STILL all about power -- These men could do the chores and likely would if they lived alone, but why bother when they can subtly exert control over their wife via manipulation to make her do it instead?
That makes him feel like a big, macho man and THATS what really matters, am I right? /s
[–]ihaveananouncementFDS Newbie[S] 35 points36 points37 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
They are obsessed with control
[–]ShieldMaidenLagerthaFDS Apprentice28 points29 points30 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Just get the wife appliance to do it! That way you’ll have more time for porn!
[–]NewGirl_WhoDisFDS Newbie6 points7 points8 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Wife appliance 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I feel that's a term incels/red pillers would use.
[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Is that what it is? Because all these things they avoid doing or do as terribly as possible, are just...life skills? Cooking is a life skill. Cleaning well, washing up, keeping a tidy environment is a life skill. Would they purposefully change their car tire wrong or add olive oil to their engine as an "oopsie"? They're dead ass playing themselves.
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This is why some of them will lie and manipulate a woman into thinking he loves her.:: what he really wants is free maid service, easy sex and someone to help pay half the rent!
[–]lival42FDS Newbie18 points19 points20 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
And the ol’ “husband try”... leads to being fired as the husband lol
[–]FitncurlyFDS Apprentice3 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
With hopefully a severance payout for the long-suffering wife, can call it a LVM cost clause in the contract 😂
[–]eatitupbbFDS Newbie9 points10 points11 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
i dated a man who asked me to bring him dinner at work. i had a day job and i lived 40 minutes from his work, but he insisted so eventually i obliged.
i brought rubbery, unseasoned chicken breasts and undercooked veggie sides. as it turns out, he wasn’t that hungry after all. shockingly, he never asked me to bring him dinner again.
[–]Gaki-fan-too7 points8 points9 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Lol, damn so instead of giving the money back to her hubby, she keeps it? That's kinda cute.
[–]NewGirl_WhoDisFDS Newbie2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
A little well-deserved price for catering to a lazy scrote IMO.
[–]RadarFemefFDS Newbie2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Wow what a fucking asshole
[–]eyeinmaidenFDS Newbie5 points6 points7 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Lol get fucccked. What a scrote.
I absolutely do not check the pockets of my husband’s clothes when I do laundry (he does laundry too). If he left something in there and it got ruined, my response would be “too bad, you should have checked the pockets before you put it in the hamper.”
It’s never happened, because he’s not a child.
Jesus fucking Christ. 🤮🤮🤮
[–]flowers4uFDS Newbie3 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Honestly laundry really isn’t a big deal. I prefer to do it separately. Husband and I have separate laundry baskets and when mine is full I take it to throw in a load of laundry. When his is full he does the same
To be fair as a young girl when my dad would ask me to help me in the yard I definitely did the above tactic. Lol.
[–]Nurit_0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Doesn't deserve a wife.
