This is a man who doesn’t like women and isn’t dating with any kind of intention to partner up long term. Notice the bitterness is “bought and given to you”; I can practically hear the hiss in his voice here. Most men I know, if they think they’d be meeting their future wife at some point and date with that intention, don’t have this resentful mentality. And I bet this guy would have no problem buying a round of drinks for a bro down on his luck. It’s women they resent having to be generous for. Because they really don’t like women on a fundamental level.

Edit: most men I know, when they really like a woman and enjoy her, actually like being generous.

It's so weird when a man say he doesn't plan to spend much time on the first date because he doesn't know if he and the woman will "stand each other", like is this a date or job function? Guys go on dates already expecting they'll hate the women...

You know instantly this guy have no intention to have a long term relationship. He plans to meet as many girls as possible and score as many as possible, that's the only reason $100 for a date is too expensive. Yeah, of course it'll be if you plan to meet a few girls a week. It certainly won't be if he wants to woo the love of his life. So yeah, the only red flag here is him.

As a Type 5..dinner, movie, and walk to the city’s attraction does seem excessive to me. Especially for a first date. My “social meter” would probably clock out by the end of dinner.
