And everyone who's ever vaguely dealt with animal rescue orgs know that dogs and most animals will not respond to human men, but they will come right over to most females. A lot of times if there is a male rescuer the animal won't come and they will need to bring in a woman to get the animal to be at all receptive. Nature is smart!

I'm not ashamed to admit, I talk to my cat and monstera plants. Friends and family have noticed how well the monstera are doing and how quick they grow.

My first husband looked after plants and animals a couple of times (several years ago), whenever I went away with my daughter, the plants always died and my daughter's hamster and cat went missing while we were away. It was only a couple of times, but I realised he was doing it maliciously. Also had an ex admit he killed his exes rabbit because he was jealous she went away without him.
