Yeah this reminds me of this guy who would always post derogatory memes about women and tell things like "I sleep with my little sister" as a joke and then all of a sudden started his rant about how porn is misogyny, degrades women and he'd never watch it except for the fact that he'd always watch it. How woke lol.

That's my ex. He always preached on women empowerment economically through pension funds for housewives and social empowerment etc and even goes vegan for the most of it.

But guess what...he disrespected me and emotionally abused me IRL.

My ex was super “woke” and still pretends to be ultra feminist and pro-women. The ass raped and abused me for FIVE YEARS and lied about me to everyone when I escaped, and continued harassing me for NINE MONTHS afterwards. Then posted shit on social media about women’s shelters and supporting rape victims. Evil.

I have 12 year old students who can successfully research a social/politic issue and write a speech about why it's a problem and how we can solve it. 12 year olds choosing topics such as gender equality, women's rights, sexual violence in society and the wage gap. All I told them was their issue should align with the UN sustainable goals. Some students chose topics about saving endangered animals but the higher level students found some very meaty subjects to get into. There are grown men who don't even believe these issues are real and I have ACTUAL 12 year olds who can tell me what it is, how it negatively affects society and what we can do to help solve the issue in innovative ways. Remember, they had their chance to get an education and some of them have college/university degrees. If they can't research, analyse and form an educated opinion on the subject that's their own problem. On top of every other bit of labour women do for men, being teachers is one that we should also not be. I teach students all week, if you choose to turn a blind eye to real issues and be ignorant it's not my job to educate you.
