History has always hidden women's contributions in the field of science and maths! There are so many great mathematicians and scientists and inventors who are females. But still, sexists still say they don't exist just because they have never done the research to know about them.

Twitter, Facebook and Apple are all computer science companies. The foundation of which is "programming", right?

Well programming was invented by a woman named Ada Lovelace.

Well, it was "thought up" by a man named Charles Babbage, he had the 'idea' for a machine you could programme to do different tasks. He built it but couldn't get it to work.

Ada came along a few years later and invented programming and got his machine working!

We call these machines today: Computers.

One of my elderly residents just told me about her!! My resident is amazing in her own right, she is 95 in her own apartment and plays these amazing piano pieces from memory.
