Wow, it's so cliche though, he lives with his mom and with her, and she bought him a PS5. It's crazy how similar all these stories are sometimes, useless lvm taking advantage and cheating. I'm both surprised and pleased with her show of backbone though, hopefully she doesn't fall for this garbage again.

When I found out my ex, who worked at Walmart in college, would not scan some items when his friends would come through lines, and had slept with two married women because he was “lonely”, I was horrified at it upended everything I thought about his core values. It’s the reason he broke up with me, because I forced him into explaining to me why he did these things and he couldn’t handle the shame. He still likes to remind me he dumped me and I always respond he ran away from me when I found out who he really was, and didn’t like him anymore, but couldn’t reconcile it with the person he presented himself as to me after being fooled for nearly a year.

It’s so scary the way people will surprise you at the end of the day with their shitty dark sides.

Red flags point to deep flaws in that person's view of the world.

A man who cheats his dentist will cheat you one way or another. None of us will be the "special one" that he magically treats decently.

I love a story with a happy ending. Lots of red flags may have been ignored along the way (he lives with mom at 25, GF bought him a PS5, etc.) but she handled the ending like an absolute Queen. No need for discussion, communication etc. Change the locks and put his stuff on the porch. I absolutely love it!
