Yeah, that's not satirical. That's jealousy cause he's hung up on one particular race and she has what he wants. I honestly dont think he’s satirical at all. This is desire to achieve semblance of power in a white supremacist structure and self hate arising from the same structure. Couple that with a deeply misogynistic South Asian culture where all women are objects to be disrespected (except your mother of course!) and are supposed to be unpaid labor and baby making appliances, and you have dudes like this.

I’ve seen this in all South Asian LVM I’ve met. Here are just two examples of how gross they are:

In my early 20s, I knew a South Asian LVM who claimed South Asian women were bottom of the barrel. I didn’t even bother getting his views on other WOC. He’d try his best to sleep with and, in his words, “trap” white women. I was dating his white best friend (another LVM) , and he repeatedly told me how jealous he was that I was with someone “at the top” and how desperately he wanted a white girl to cement his social status. He had an awful, off putting personality so no woman really gave him the time of day, which frustrated him more. In the end, he married a South Asian pickme after 5 years of dating, which was “the best [he] could do” Again, his words.

My LV South Asian father was the same way. Married to my beautiful mother (like supermodel beautiful). But he couldn’t keep his eyes off white women when we were out and about. Claimed to hate them, but secretly was desperate for them. In our first decade or so of being in the US, the only women he could effectively chat up were waitresses and cashiers- usually low income, brown/black/East Asian women, who were paid to be nice lol. The fact that they weren’t white frustrated him. He loved to complain that he was invisible to white women. Once he was in a financial position to do so, he aggressively pursued a “blonde, blue eyed” Russian immigrant at work and was ready to leave our family for her. Unfortunately for him, he got fired from that very high paying job for sexual harassment, and once his income dried up, so did his mistress’ interest 😂

South Asian women experience the same, if not worse injustices in a white dominant culture, with all the added flavor of misogyny from that culture plus our own. On the rare occasions we date or marry outside our culture, it’s because we’re tired of being treated like second class citizens by its men, not because we want to “be on top”
