Well, now you know he doesn't give a shit about your wants/needs and he wasn't taking so long to reply because "he doesn't know any better." It's common sense not to leave someone you like on read for >24 hours, and it's normal to be offended that you're literally getting ignored.

Don't give him a second chance, trust me I know from personal experience it doesn't get better. My ex started doing that barely 2 weeks into our relationship, and I still stayed with that clown for nearly 2 years. If I had gotten out the first time he didn't text me for a day, I would have saved myself so much time and heartbreak.

He lost interest in you. Most likely: someone else got his attention. When a man is really interested he will always find a min to text, even if it's: "I'm so busy at work today, can I please talk to you later tonight?" So yeah, block and forget. Nothing will come out of it

Yes. I think you should ghost him at best, mirror his behavior at worst. Stop reaching out as of now. If you decide to respond to him, take days and/or long hours to reply.

Remember, this is supposed to be the honeymoon stage. He should be showing you his best and most valuable side if he is worth keeping around.

If you communicated your standards and nothing changed means that he is not willing to meet your standards and therefore is not afraid to lose you. If he is fading, you fade back. In a couple weeks you’ll forget about him.

Have you ever dated someone who doesn’t listen to you? If not, let me tell you what it’s like.

I had an ex, I don’t know what the issue was but it was like he didn’t retain information properly, or he just couldn’t be bothered listening to me. After a year, our relationship went downhill. Before that, here and there I would communicate how I didn’t think he was listening to me and it was frustrating me, and the argument just kept escalating to me in a clusterfuck because he just....didn’t listen to what I was saying.

It drives you crazy. I would have to repeat things again and again to no avail, sometimes four times in a single go. Nothing got solved. I would get so furious. I repeated this issue again and again over the course of the year and nothing changed. Eventually I started having breakdowns because shit was that bad. I could seriously not get a word through him. I can’t even describe properly how bad this issue was. I was dead inside when I left him, didn’t cry, didn’t get angry, just nothing. He begged for me back but I checked out 3 months before that.

There’s no need for this, leave him alone if he’s that busy. You communicated clearly and he can’t provide
