I kind of feel for her. I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness too. The sexual repression, discouragement of independent thought, and withholding of outside information really does something screwy to your brain. It takes a lot of strength to become a well-adjusted person after being so developmentally stunted during your formative years. I’m willing to bet if she engaged in those things in her younger years it’s quite possible she wouldn’t be who she is today. As you’ve said the problem is dealing with the aftermath—the hurt, regret, depression etc. it’s draining and takes it’s toll on you.

It’s scientifically proven women between 27-45 have a higher sex drive and better sex. I believe that a lot of that has to do with our mental level up, enforcing boundaries and the expectation that men reciprocate.
That’s the message she should’ve put out there.
