They’ve been together for 10 years, but married for a few months. When she got her first dose he threatened to leave her, so she’s scared to get her second dose. The LVM believes in “divine intervention” and when it’s his time to die, he will gladly go. This guy has never gotten the flu shot. Albeit, he probably never been vaccinated in his life.

She’s in her late 20’s and scared of starting over since she doesn’t have anything besides her high school diploma. She is afraid that he’ll kick her out of the house if he found out.

So far, I’ve told her to get it done secretly and leave her paperwork at my place, so he won’t find out. My friends and I even offered to take her to get vaccinated. I’ve also assured her that he doesn’t have access to her medical records since he’s too lazy and stupid to go out of his way to check.

I’m very upset that such a man exist in this world and that she’s acting recklessly with her health for this guy. Although, I can empathize with her. She’s been with guy for too long and is trying to make things work.

Is there anything she or I can do?
