Have you notice that in any discussion about whatever issue women are facing, somebody has to jump in and declare that this is also an issue for men?

If we talk about sexual abuse, somebody will say that boys / men have it much worse because they are stigmatized for being a victim more than girls and women. If we talk about mental health, somebody needs to remind us that it's much harder for men to talk about mental health. If we talk about body shaming, we always need to consider that men also are shamed for not being ripped or being bald and this is much worse than women being treated as subhumans because of getting older or not being conventionally attractive.

What I don't understand is, who is keeping men from talking about these topics with their bros? Women are certainly not. Women are constantly trying to get men to care about their own health, with little to no success. But whenever women are trying to have a discussion that doesn't center men, somebody feels the need to jump in with "MaLe MeNtaL hEaLtH mAtTeRs ToO". If male mental health matters so much to men, why don't they consider going to therapy once a week instead of going to the bar? Why do they only bring up this issue when women are trying to talk about their mental health? Why do they react so butthurt and defensive when WOMEN care about WOMEN'S issues instead of running after their LVM scrote trying to make sure he doesn't forget about his doctor's appointment she scheduled for him?

If men are honestly concerned about these issues, it's time to grow up and make these doctor's appointments and having serious talks with your buddies like a big boy.
