When I used to be a pickme, I would often hear men I "dated" (more like I was being played but thats another topic) say that they know what love is, because they "dated models with ugly personality" or and so are basically willing to... Lower their standards and "love" someone below those standards (ie a pickme who will be replaced as soon as they found better) ?

I have always thought that it is was negging when men do that. It's a way to degrade the person they date clearly. It also sounds like they treat women as objects, like "oh look I used to date and f*ck models and strippers, they had Nice bodies...". Which is a way to say that think that you are basic. Or average. Or ugly. Anything but amazing.

It seems that they say that to make the woman they date to feel bad about their bodies, because they are like bragging and claiming to be proud to see nothing but stereotypes.
