Most men just want their ego stroked by sleeping with as many women at possible. They never stop to consider how the woman feels about it and how we get even more attached after sex. They get an ego boost from the idea that a woman finds them sexually desirable enough to sleep with them. Then after that they have no problem discarding you like trash. They got what they want and couldn't care less about how hurt you are when you realize they don't want a real relationship. You as a woman feel used and hurt, because you WERE used, for their pathetic egos.

This is why it's so important to ask up front what a guy is looking for. But even then they can lie about what they want in order to get you in bed.

They may piss and moan about you wanting to wait a while before having sex but we are really just protecting our hearts and we want to make sure they are really into us and not just wanting an ego stroke by getting us into bed.

If a guy says he's not looking for anything serious, believe him! Don't continue sleeping with him in hopes that he'll catch feelings, that almost never happens. Block and move on.

If as guy says anything along the lines of "I know sometimes people can fantasize about their future with someone, etc". I've heard this twice from a guy and what they are really saying is that they are not interested in a serious relationship with you. They know you have feelings for them, but they are too much of a coward to break things off or tell you straight up they are using you. Break up, block and move on.

Don't be man's ego stroke. If you slept with him and then he says he stops responding, gets distant, tells you he's not looking for anything serious, tells you he he as a lot going on in his life right now for a commitment at the moment, I know it hurts, but don't let it get to you, take it at a lesson learned! Don't try to tell him your feelings or accept any kind of hoover from him in the future whenever it may occur.

Our time is precious, don't let a fuckboy drain you of your precious years and time! Don't let them get you down. Block and move on as quickly as you can. Realize your mistakes and work on your boundaries. Don't let them talk you into sleeping with them when you are not ready. Don't put yourself in a situation where you are vulnerable (like getting drunk) on your first dates with him.

These are harsh lessons that I'm embarrassed to say took me way too long to realize.
