Sometimes I wonder how there are men who don’t find pleasure in being able to provide. I’ve seen very poor men insist to pay for everything, because it’s a pride thing. Then, I’ve also seen well-to-do guys who will split popcorn at the movies.

I think it is a very good indicator of how a man sees you. The former sees you as a woman he wants to take seriously. He doesn’t want his dream girl to think he can’t take care of her. The latter can’t see you as anything more than a girl he wants to bang.

A LVM just want someone to have sex with them (so they don't have to pay for sex) and someone to do the chores as if they were maids.

Lmfao. Entitled. The men who complain about having to provide for women are the type I now easily feel absolutely nothing towards. I had to learn the hard way though. Somehow working my ass off 50+ hours a week was STILL not as hard as the 36 hours my bf put into 3 shifts as a fast food manager. He had to do actual labor apparently while I just, "didn't have to do much. It's like a lifestyle, not a job." (Fun edit: I made more than him)

Lifting children, actively running around and playing with them for hours, taking them to a (usually physical) activity every single day, taught them school lessons every day, cooking and cleaning while watching them, dealing with poop, snot and screaming, etc........is somehow just totally not comparable to smoking weed in the back of Jimmy John's and making sandwiches while talking to your friends. 🙄 They weren't my kids so I had to follow someone else's rules (no tv for ex). I was a professional caregiver certified by the state which I took classes for. I was expected to keep our house clean, do his laundry, be the only one to care for our pets, yet mocked for eating out because I didnt want to cook for myself or him. Like the 1 treat I had was wrong while he played video games and watched porn all the time. I had no clue what I was worth and accepted my position as being less-than, didn't make too much of a fuss or was easily silenced when I did.

Their labor, effort and time is ALWAYS worth more than yours when they see you as beneath them. You could be a demigod and their ego would find a way to criticize you. How could a woman possibly be better than them when women must be beanth them?!?! Their brains go 🤯
