The willingness and capacity for self-deception among young women is at an all-time high. I had a back-and-forth yesterday with a young lady in /r/Relationship_Advice about her pornsick boyfriend who aggressively masturbates in front of her, despite her repeatedly telling him not to, and takes 2 hours to orgasm. She voraciously defended him and couldn’t understand why this is a problem.

Porn addiction, compulsive masturbation, sanctioned infidelity couched as polyamory, refusal to share emotional/physical/financial labor at home...young men are toxic beyond words.

I’m actually laughing my ass off at “our girlfriend” and them sending pictures to her of them fucking. 😭 Reading that sub these days makes it so hard for me to even have sympathy for the situations these women finds themselves in. If you’re casually posting about your man fucking another woman and worried about if it’s okay to feel jealous that you aren’t getting as much attention, I feel like you are beyond help and advice.

In theory I'm ok with poly relationships, but in practice they do not work. At least I've never seen or heard of them working... Truth is if you're coming up with excuses to fuck someone else it's probably time to exit

The sad thing is, guys will always be giving more time and attention to the "main one" if you agree to be part of a man's "harem" he will see it that way. Even if you go in under the pretense of equality, you wont get it if you let him, have other girlfriends. I think women are much better at being able to feel equal love for multiple people and show it because they have nothing to prove, they just want love. Men are the ones who always want this but are terrible at it and make it miserable. I mean.... just dump the guy and date two women. Ugh. I'm a person who would be happy with two partners, but we cant have nice things like that because men use it to take advantage of your kindness, abuse you emotionally, triangulate, and worst of all judge and RESENT YOU for being open and not jealous. This is something they could never do. They will find a way to make it hurt, because to them, you in pain over their rejection some how proves thier worth. This is asinine logic but that's how they think. I had a boyfriend who would get upset when I wasnt jealous. Yes you read that correctly. Upset. They feed off your jealousy. So if you think you're being the "cool girl" for not being jealous, trust me , they are mad at you for not caring because it means that they must "not be worth getting upset over." Well they are not worth getting upset over, because NO ONE IS. If a man is purposefully needing you to be upset so they can feel desired, they are a worthless partner and will drive you to insanity. There is no upside. It blows my mind how they always claim to want things and then punish you emotionally for letting them have those things. This includes sex. My boundaries now include a strict, monogamy line because I know I will only be punished if I dont. In my experience HVM are very uncomfortable at the thought of not being monogamous. They don't want to lose you either because they care about you.
