I’ve always found it funny that women are considered to be incredibly emotional (often in a negative light) and our heightened emotions are commonly used to support misogynistic theories that label us as weak or irrational.

For example, even in this day and age, there are many people who feel as though women are ‘too emotional’ to hold leadership positions.

Take rapper T.I. for example, who actually had the nerve to open his useless mouth and express his atrociously sexist views live on air. The Neanderthal proudly stated that he would never vote for a woman president, because we are too emotional.

T.I. explains why he wouldn’t vote for a woman president

Image what sort of uproar would ensue if a well-known celeb were to say they would never vote for a president of a certain ethnicity or skin color etc.

But, no one gave a shit about his divisive, illogical, and outdated rhetoric, of course, because nobody gives a shit about women, but I digress;

My question is: who in the love of FUCK decided that anger wasn’t an emotion?

Males are the most emotional creatures to walk the earth. They are reactive, volatile, and will literally burn their house to the ground in a fit of rage over a video game.

Males make up 80.1% of all violence in the United States, 99.6% of all perpetrators of homicide globally, etc. The list goes on.

Males are the creators of war; of terror.

It BAFFLES me that our emotions are used against us when our emotions never result in death and destruction.

God forbid we cry to naturally purge our emotions rather than beat the shit out of the family golden retriever.

Women allow our bodies natural biological response to emotional stimuli to ensue, and that somehow makes us...weak?

Got it. Lol.

If there is any gender that is emotionally unfit to hold leadership positions, it certainly isn’t us.
