I have been thinking about leaving Reddit for a long time because of the blatant misagony, but the other day I happened upon this subreddit.

Today I was asked out by a guy. The conversation went something like this.

Guy: Are you free today to grab a coffee?

Me: I'm up for it.

Guy: Are you able to come to my area? The best coffee is in my area.

Me: Wait. Are you asking a woman to do the driving?

Guy: Today and this weekend is kinda tight. I have a lot going on. But if you can't today I'm game to come your way next week.

Me: Why would you ask me out if you knew you're so busy it would only work if I did the work?

"Normally" I would agree to come to his area. We're all equals, right? We should both be driving. Why does it matter who drives first?

Well, this sub has taught me that there are a lot of low effort men out there and a low effort man need not be in my life.
