I went on a walk to the park closest to me since it has a nice view of the harbor at 11 pm the other night. I had my pitbull with me, but I wasn't approached at all. It was nice. Was planning to walk to the end of the pier, but it was gated shut. So, that sucked.

I always feel I'm more of a threat... I guess I just have the idea in my mind that no one would approach me when out by myself at night 'cause I'm scary. I walk quickly and it's not a girly canter. Guess that's a positive to having a belief that in general people are scared of you. 😕

I feel like this EVERY DAY now. And this must be how men feel their entire lives but without even having to think about it! For years I opted to pay money to gyms to get my exercise because going for long walks, even during the day, made me anxious. Now I'm walking 10+ kilometres a day around my neighbourhood! I know it's bad to say due to the wider context of the situation but I'm loving it.

actually i feel even more unsafe because now the streets are more isolated and if something were to happen it's likely no one will be able to see or help. always be careful. buddy up with someone if you're going for a run.
