We point out how awful low value men are and why we shouldn't put up with their behavior, but we still believe there are good men out there who will treat us with love and respect. It’s the same false equivalency that people use when they try to claim that feminism is “reverse sexism” or something.

Women are just not taking any more shit from men and calling it out, with the end goal of men improving their behavior so women don’t have to suffer horrific human rights abuses at their hands.

Whereas every “men’s movement” pretty much started out as a circle-jerk of bitter, resentful entitlement about not being able to control women that eventually devolved into an insane cult of self-reinforcing delusion and occasionally literal terrorism where women are no longer regarded as human. To them we’re either an inherently inferior servant class that needs to be properly enslaved or the all-powerful oppressors of men, whichever narrative is more convenient at the time.
