You can’t tell from this passage, but I wonder if the guy writing this is HV or LV. This seems to be laced with some self-awareness? But is there a hint of personal accountability? A pinch of desire to change? I don’t know.

I’ve heard HV men complain about other men before, saying they can’t confide in other men because they respond with things like “dude let’s go out and get you laid tonight you’ll forget about her” instead of offering a listening ear and empathy. Is this a man frustrated with other men? Or just one admitting he is garbage too.
