I think it’s because said women have accomplished more than these males ever have or will in their lives, that the only way these males can cope/deal, is by attempting to tear them down in any and every way possible.
Great recent example: Simone Biles.

Yep. "Negging" (even if the woman in question is so far out of their league she'll never read their stupid comments) is a sure sign of an NVM/LVM. NO question. High value males who have accomplished things do not see similarly accomplished women as threats, or think that the only way to find a mate in real life is by "bringing her down a peg or two" to their level (AKA the dirt).
It's the same way no woman confident in herself ever tears other women apart randomly. Only the pick-mes do that.

Just look at ANY top Reddit post about a woman succeeding or accomplishing amazing things. Hundreds of tiny 🤏🏻, sad, little men that try to diminish, downplay, or completely disregard it. It's pathetic, really.

Remember when Elena Kagan was appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court? There was a flood of comments online from men complaining that she was "gross"-looking and ugly, and that they'd never want to f*** her.
