I really don't get how virginity was so "important" back in the day. They say it was so the man was sure the baby was his, but last time I checked we were always aware that our pregnancies last 9 months.

The concept of virginity and all the surrounding perceived values are stupid, but I guess it's maybe one of the few things keeping some women from getting sucked into libfem hookup & feel eMpOwErEd culture so there's that. I'd rather be a "virgin" than be with any scrote.

Too bad none of the traditional beliefs surrounding virginity actually benefit women. It might get you to avoid scrotes during your most vulnerable years, but that's not intended for your benefit... It's intended for whatever man you eventually "belong" to 🤮🤮🤮. I think that virginity is real- you've either had sex or you haven't. But it's value is socially constructed.
