When I use to rent a place without a washing machine, I would go to the laundromat and the number of times a random man who would ask to ‘borrow’ some washing detergent / softener. Why would anyone go to a laundromat without the very thing needed to achieve washing their clothes?

I’d straight up ignore them ( got called a bitch / c word a lot) and went back to reading my book. The entitlement and the expectation to be relying on women to facilitate, helping you with your needs because you aren’t independent ‘in that way’ to be forward thinking, prepared and prioritise your needs because ‘hey you always have women to pick up the slack’ Is pure male entitlement. What a luxury it must be to live life thinking someone else will be riffling through your dirty clothes?!
