Girlfriend benefits: (everything must be 100% reciprocated) i will make time for him, give reasonable emotional support, physical intimacy after 6 months complete commitment, adventures together, exchange gifts on bdays/Xmas.

Wife: (everything must be 100% reciprocated) everything from the girlfriend list + we may combine finances, invest in eachothers future, medical decisions made with eachothers input, we may move for eachother, purchase assets together.

There are no girlfriend benefits. The best a man can hope for during that stage is my presence. And even that I am determining when and where. If a man wants additional access to me he needs to offer me something first.

Please ladies do not consider cleaning after him a wife benefit! That is extremely problematic and gets old super quick. Get ready to hate his guts a year in if you clean up and cook for a man. This shit has to be equal even if you’re a SAHM. Wife does not equal mom. That is never a wife benefit.

Edit: my queen mom didn’t even do these things for me or my brother. We did them for our selves. Slave is what I meant, not mom.

Girlfriend benefits:

emotional support and sometimes sex if the guy is hot and my type.

I’m against traveling together unless the guy pays for everything and we use separate room.

For me, these are the differences:

Wife benefits:
- living together
- expensive gifts
- having children
- combining and discussing finances in detail
- showing up to most of his family events
- listing him as a beneficiary
- emotional exclusivity
- cooking and cleaning for him
- seeing me more than 3-4x/wk
- moving to live with him
Girlfriend benefits:
- seeing me 1-3x/wk (4x/wk at the very most)
- short vacations together
- sexual exclusivity
- only cooking for him on his birthday or a major life accomplishment (aka sparingly, if at all)
