So for me, I guess because I’m from the South, I’ve always expected a guy to pay. Never once, if I thought it was a date, I didn’t expect a guy to pay. Me paying is a way of saying “I want to be only friends” and in this same thought Ladies! If a guy wants you to pay it means “Let’s just be friends! I dont see you as a girlfriend” A guy who wants to be more than friends with you, well a HVM who wants to be friends with you, does not have a problem with paying. For 1st, 2nd, 3rd date etc... Now once Im in a relationship, he doesn’t Hold 100% of the cost of being in a relationship. But dude, let him pay! It means “This is more than friendship!”
