I’m physically cringing at the realisation that I would have agreed with this when I was in my teens and twenties. Thankfully this sub exists for the women in that position now. But I can think of very few memories more embarrassing that the ones of me being a pickme. Ugh.

What in the world. I know so many attractive women, myself included, who are single.

There are so many reasons to be single:

don’t desire a relationship for whatever reason
focusing on school
taking a break after previous relationship
many guys who approach us are not serious
many men are low effort
working on self-improvement (financial, health, etc)
don’t want to settle
maybe she’s enjoying single life, casually dating
etc

This is so funny, because the exact opposite is true for me.

For the first time in my life, I’ve been single for longer than a 3-4 month period. I chose to stop dating.

And I’m going to keep making that choice until further notice, because, thanks to FDS (and a lot of work on my own and with therapists), my mental health has never been better than it is right now.

I have never valued myself more than I do right now. That’s why I’m single. My self-worth is at an all time high, so I’m not willing to even entertain the chance of interacting with a LVM who disrespects me.

What does a scrote see as a red flag? Self-esteem that isn’t low enough for him to successfully use and abuse a woman.

Also, more than a few months ago was 2020, which you know, was when a PANDEMIC was raging. Nobody should have been meeting up and hanging out with new people, i.e. dating.

In two weeks, I’ll be getting my second vaccination shot. I think I might burst into tears. I haven’t left my house more than a dozen times over the course of a year. I live alone. I don’t have a pet.

Wear a fucking mask and act like people are still dying from a pandemic, because THEY ARE.

He just can't imagine that someone else thinks differently to him. Just because he can't stand being single, and needs to be with someone (anyone who comes along), he imagines that every other person feels that way.

As well as being kind of gross, the analogy of the nice looking house with a low asking price doesn't make sense. A beautiful woman who remains single for a while probably has high standards (ie, the opposite of a low asking price).
