Two things.
Whenever I bring up the issues men face feminists often victim-blame by saying that it was men who caused these issues, and that we should do something about it and that it's not a women's job to deal with men's issues that men caused blah blah blah
- I came to a realization that this is very comparable to race and privilege.
Let's say a white person has a certain privilege, a black person points this out. The white person says he didn't ask for this privilege, that it was his racist ancestors or racist politicians/members of the government that granted him this privilege that he didn't ask for.
Does this sound familiar to you? If so, what does the black person usually say in this situation? I don't know about you, but the black person usually says something along the lines of it's the job of the privileged person to dismantle that privilege, not the person disadvantaged by it.
Now, tying this back to feminism, if a woman has a privilege, like for example, not having to experience being drafted, it's her job as the person with privilege to dismantle it, not the person that is disadvantaged by it. This is especially important since feminism is the biggest and most powerful gender equality movement. The responsibility of dismantling privileges lies on them.
- If patriarchy still exists in America, women are the ones who mostly perpetuate it.
"In every U.S. presidential election dating back to 1984, women reported having turned out to vote at slightly higher rates than men, according to a new analysis of Census Bureau data by the Center. At the same time, the gender gap in party affiliation continues to widen."
https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2020/08/18/men-and-women-in-the-u-s-continue-to-differ-in-voter-turnout-rate-party-identification/
So the fact that men still have to face Selective Service, even the fact that abortion is getting banned in America, is, using feminist's logic, women's fault since they are the majority of voters. Who got these sexists voted in? Mostly women. They are the biggest perpetrators of "patriarchy" at this point. Plus studies show mothers show more gender bias than fathers. They are more likely to instill "patriarchial" beliefs in their children.
"The age-old bias that suggests “boys don’t cry” is unconsciously perpetuated by mothers more than fathers, according to new research from the University of Guelph."

There is also the obvious point that men aren't a monolith and that men have no in-group bias which is supported by studies. Men in power don't help other men, another way of disproving the existence of a patriarchy. Women support other women, men don't support other men, in fact, they tend to have an out-group bias, men tend to support other women. Especially men in power, just look at WHO, CDC, and the UN.

Keep these ideas in mind whenever a feminist tries to victim-blame men.
