This is so hilariously true. My lifestyle is still that of a college kid more or less (going out all the time) but I have good jobs and an awesome apt now. I never have to worry about money anymore. Sometimes I almost feel guilty for not being stressed out like everybody else.

People who say "your teens and 20s are your best years" make me want to throw up. Most of the people that have said that to me are married, were teenage parents ore are just miserable.

Your 30's should be better than your 20's. Your 40's should be better than your 30's. If you've gone over 20 years and you're still reliving your teenage glory days, you've fucked up somewhere along the line.

Men's power should increase with age, as his influence, wealth and experience amass.

I'm 35 and make less than the median household income and still have more money than I know what to do with. I will never have to stress over it. Even when I splurge on video games now and then I still manage just fine.

Just turned 45 divorced 2 years ago no kids. It's amazing how fast I dug my self out of that hole. I'm now way better off financially than when I was married not to mention after the divorce. It's like nothing ever happened.

In my 30s here, can confirm. Debt free, travel four times a year, buy the things I like. Health and fit lifestyle. Peace and quiet at home. Enjoy laughing at parents from a distance stress over their kids, money and spouse.

Swear to god, i'm working now at my first serious job and i've realized i've got more freedom (AKA monthly big bucks) than i did in my twenties. I bet more girls will find me suddently "interesting" now that i'm investing seriously on myself and my health...but broads will have NONE of my money, time and dick. i rather pay for good sex rather than "date" (aka mantain a woman while spoiling her for good) some girl with no brain nor virtues

Actually better than 20's for me. I became ill around 22, so not only did I not have money but my sex life hit the skids. Crawled my way back out of hell around 30-31. I can't believe how much money I've made in less than three years. The amount of women in their late 30's borderline harassing me is also really out of left field.

Turned 30 this year and I make close to $130k with bonuses and stocks a year... but I also have about $300k in loans too to pay off.. I think I'll be spoiling myself and at the same time try to pay off those loans as fast as possible.

Kids really aren't that expensive. These people pretend having children equals instant bankruptcy. If you're half responsible with your money you'll be fine, and if you're not you shouldn't be having children for different reasons.

I can attest to this. I'm 35 now. Never married, almost, but never went through with it.

In my mid-late 20s, I decided to learn all I could about my field, leaving the lab late and putting in weekends with no pay. Now at 35, I save money every month while having enough to fund my PC habit.

Not always true, it you plan for kids then you should be fine. And if you plan for kids with a good partner (husband or wife; no judging) then you are even better off. And if you and your partner both have jobs, then you are set.

I'm a lot more responsible with my money now than I was at 25 and it feels good. Before I'd drop $100 I didn't have to go on a date, or for clothes to impess someone. Now I'm in an industry where dressing down is expected, and if I go out, it's for me (and I'm usually happy eating at home). My idea of splurging is a laptop or phone every 4-5 years and a trip overseas every 2-3.
