I was married for 19 years. After the third child was born, she totally turned off the sex. I tried everything to repair the relationship. Counselling, nice, romantic trips, extra housework etc etc. Nothing worked. Finally got to the point where I told her that if she wouldn't have sex with me, I'd find someone who would. Of course, she found out and we separated.

I moved into a studio on the property, away from the main house. Lived there happily on my own until one night, the cops knock on my door. "You've been bashing your wife and kids mate". I said, "No, I live up here and just pay all the bills. Never touched her or the kids". Cop says,"well, you've got 5 minutes to pack up and leave or we're taking you out of here in cuffs" I said, "But this is MY place. I bought and paid for the entire property before I even met her"

Cop doesn't give a stuff. Says, "Well, you were the one who had an affair"

A year later, the family court magistrate awards the entire property to her (well in excess of a million dollars) She took my studio and all my pianos (She didn't even play, she just didn't want me to have them.)

I went from being reasonably well off to destitute. (Not looking for sympathy; just wanted to warn any young men what WILL happen to you if you're foolish enough to trust them)
