Taken from https://twitter.com/TellYourSonThis/status/1210605870914179072?s=19 and below:
Add a healthy dose of environmentalism to the equation as well, talk about how there's already far too many people on this planet
Then, when you don't have enough workers to pay for the old, enact an unvoted on mass immigration policy to boost tax receipts & destroy the culture.
Brainwash the women into believing they were oppressed, make them distrust men, this will help lower their fertility and marginalise their people, thus eroding their nation. When families begin to break up, government can swell in size and power to replace the father as provider.
Religion is good at promoting fertility and intact family structures - so it is an impediment to the goal to destroy nation.
Religion which helps the people should be replaced by ideological dogma which divides & undermines them - we'll focus on oppression and power structures.
To achieve this, we'll undermine religion by actively encouraging atheism, particularly among the high IQ, as to elicit nihilistic degeneracy & exert a dysgenic effect on breeding, meanwhile we'll use universities as a vehicle for spreading the ideological dogma that supplants it

There is zero scientific proof that any gods exist.
Religions are pure mythology
[–]Battlemachine22153 points154 points155 points 6 years ago* (83 children) | Copy Link
There is no scientific proof that god doesn't exist. We don't even understand consciousness and where it is located and what creates it. We don't understand near death experiences. We don't really know what really happens in the brain when we take psychedelics. I'm not saying there is a skydaddy there watching you.
Science should be based on intellectual humility.
The honest answer to the god question is we don't know.
You don't have to shit on religion, religion helps people to have a common code of conduct and also serves to promote family relationships and puts restraints on hypergamy. The bible, quran and the vedas contain a lot of redpills. I'm not saying religion is all good, but you don't have to through the baby with the bath water.

Observable reality, critical thinking, and scientific proof don't need negative corollaries as a premise
[–]quantum_darkness-1 points0 points1 point 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Lack of proof is not an evidence of absence. God, even as a concept, is beyond observable reality and critical thinking. It is pride and arrogance to think that we can understand, observe and critically judge everything in our reality - we are far too limited for this.

The Burden of Proof is on the ones that claim there is a god; In the legal system, the burden of proof lies with the prosecution, and the accused is innocent until proven guilty. Shifting the burden of proof saying "there is no scientific proof that god doesn't exist" is a fallacy
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Claiming there is a God and claiming there isn’t one, are both claims made by people, neither of which have “substantial” “scientific” “evidence”
[–]DigitalScetis-3 points-2 points-1 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Who is bringing the case? And in whose court? And under what understanding of evidence?
There are things that count as evidence in science that would not qualify as evidence in a court of law, and there are things that are considered evidence in a court of law that would not qualify as scientific evidence.

This starts become absurd though. As many concepts you believe in are just that, beliefs. Concepts such as gravity are not fully proven in the strictest sense of the word. And even things such as the earth not being at the centre of the universe are concepts you can't verify and therefore must believe what you're told.
There is many things like this and it gets a bit tired.
For me I couldn't find evidence of a god, but I found enough evidence for a Satan like entity and therefore I believe there must be a god. Still a belief.
I am a former atheist too.
[–]Trind10 points11 points12 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You're fucking retarded. It doesn't mean there's a Satan just because there are evil people in the world. It just means there are evil people.
[–]Scipio_Amer1canus-2 points-1 points0 points 6 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link
Technically, since we haven't found an edge to the Universe, it is correct to say that the Earth is at the center of the visible Universe.
As far as belief in God is concerned, I've heard there was an interview with a SETI researcher and they were asked, "How will you know when you find a message from an intelligent species?" Their answer was, "There will be a pattern to it." The last time I checked, the only reason we can work with math/science is precisely because of the patterns we see (from Fibonacci to genetic coding, they are everywhere.)
To me, science explains the "how" while religion explains the "why."

The earth is not even the centre of our own galaxy.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Location_of_Earth
[–]WikiTextBot0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Location of Earth
Knowledge of the location of Earth has been shaped by 400 years of telescopic observations, and has expanded radically since the start of the 20th century. Initially, Earth was believed to be the center of the Universe,
which consisted only of those planets visible with the naked eye and an outlying sphere of fixed stars. After the acceptance of the heliocentric model in the 17th century, observations by William Herschel and others showed that the Sun lay within a vast, disc-shaped galaxy of stars. By the 20th century, observations of spiral nebulae revealed that the Milky Way galaxy was one of billions in an expanding universe, grouped into clusters and superclusters.

I guess I am your polar opposite regarding that. While I would say that religion is not all bad (see your examples) I think it leads to much more evil and suffering around the world than good. Wars, terrorism, hate of people who are different, cults, etc.
[–]Bonesteel5028 points29 points30 points 6 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
Wars that have religious justification are just that, a justification. its rarely ONLY about religion. That's just what they use to stir people into fighting. Its almost always about resources.
Terrorism comes in a lot of forms, not just religious based. Hating people who are different is simply basic human Us VS them. It's universal, and people would do it without religion too.

[–]Klma21 point2 points3 points 6 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
Well there's (and probably won't be soon) no way to say that those things won't still exist without religion that's true. That's allso true for all the positive things mentioned about religion though so maybe it not existing wouldn't change anything at all ... who knows.
I have simply expressed my opinion, you may disagree that's fine and normal. None of us can say whether I'm right or wrong though as it's all simply hypothetical.
Just a tip for the future though (even though my hopes of you taking it seriously are slim regarding how offended you already seem to have gotten by someone simply stating their opinion ... (oh Internet my beautiful femme fatale!)) try not to say things like 'grow up' after making your argument. It makes you seem immature and takes away from the actual statement. Especially while talking to a stranger on the internet (you don't know my age ... although on the other hand I can see how even 80 years old people can seem childish sometimes).
And honestly i do not mean this last part in a demeaning way whatsoever. Just really hope to do my part to maybe make the web a nicer place for all of us so we can have even more productive discussions with each other.
Edit: Also ... an excuse for what? Care to elaborate?
Edit2: Ah nevermind I get it now. You mean religion is an excuse for war etc. Sure that's a valid an interesting standpoint. May be.

Mmh I would agree that forced(!) atheism is really bad of course. Same with forced religion ... You can't generally correlate atheism and communism though (heck you can't even generalize communism as one ideology!)... and I don't know about the percentages you've given us (Source?).
But even if we just assume you're right regarding that... what do you mean with 'our current state'? First of all there's a high chance we're from different countries. Second you might disagree but I personally don't think everything about the modern world is bad - quite the contrary actually. And lastly I would go out on a limb here and say that you massively overestimate the impact of atheism on this state you're referring to ... regarding how low the actual percentages of atheists are around the world (even in western countries) and also that if there's any correlation it's more likely to be the other way round (our current state like higher average education etc. leading to more atheism)
Also the catholic church really?? Oh great the pedophiles also do good from time to time isn't that something!

Sadly, religion could be the only bulwark against the march toward egalitarianism and universal suffrage that inevitably collapses society.
[–]MinuteManLarry10 points11 points12 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
If you think we're headed towards egalitarianism you're dead wrong. The current trend at least in the West is female supremacy.
[–]ultramagnum4 points5 points6 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Egalitarianism is a euphemism for female supremacy. Women can only have equality by oppressing men, because they are incapable of being responsible for themselves
[–]DigitalScetis0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
There was a time, long ago, when it was religion that pushed for universal suffrage.
[–]ultramagnum1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
True. We can thank the Christians for the Social Gospel movement that promoted feminism in the US. But there aren't many patriarchal societies absent religion, so it's a fragile thing to hold onto.
[–]jasonlee30710 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Egalitarianism and universal suffrage is what democracy is all about. Or would you prefer living under a theocracy? A form of religious tyranny that dictates what you should believe in and how you should be.
[–]deSuspect5 points6 points7 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You don't need to prove something doesn't exist becouse that's impossible. What you need to do is prove that something exists. All proves for existence of god were already debunked thousands of times. Not to mention how religion changes as science progress, you don't hear anymore how earth is a center of universe or that every weather phenomena is controlled by different mythical being. Religion is simply a way to conform people with the idea of death and to force them to behave semi good so they are not total assholes before they die.
[–]juicyfoot-6 points7 points8 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Do you think that just because have been done a certain way for thousands of years that’s it’s the right way things should be done now?
I’ve changed my opinion on that. I believe humanity did things long ago as tribes to ensure safety and control and survival. And it worked back then. But does that mean it’s the right way now? I’m not picking a fight so please don’t get defensive. Just really asking for your thoughts
[–]lonewolfhistory7 points8 points9 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I believe you can look around and see why we used those things for thousands of years. Our society is collapsing and burning without them. I think the proof for needing them is there.

Aww, so "God of the Gaps" is the hill you choose to die on?
[–]WrongTime017 points8 points9 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
There is essentially no evidence that God exists, even in a hypothetical sense. We can say that certain mythological creatures MIGHT exist because they have a theorized plausible habitat, diet, and role in the ecosystem (note I said ‘some’ and not ‘all’, since creatures like the giant squid turned out to be real while werewolves are just simply false) while God has nothing that supports his existence. He is thought to be immortal with no need for consumption of resources (breathing, eating, drinking) and cannot be killed or even seen until one’s brain stops working. That is an impossible since matter cycles through every being, so the atoms in us today are not the same atoms in us 2 months ago. This goes for everything in existence. If God did exist, we would see many more of them and we wouldn’t exist since God can supposedly create life on a whim, and if He did exist he would absolutely procreate more of His kind, resulting in at least one malevolent God who would snuff us out in a moment. And since God can’t die, neither could his offspring, resulting in a lot of atoms being stored in God that cannot be recovered, essentially making the universe smaller.
Let’s be honest, God as a concept exists only because early humanity didn’t know how the world worked and a big man in the sky was one of their explanations to rationalize the irrational
[–]jonathino0015 points6 points7 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
There is no scientific proof that god doesn't exist.
This is a reversal of the burden of proof. If someone walked up to you and said "I can levitate things with my mind!" and you were like "What, no you can't" and he was like "PROVE I can't"
Absent any further evidence, which position is the more rational one to agree with?
You don't have to shit on religion, religion helps people to have a common code of conduct and also serves to promote family relationships and puts restraints on hypergamy.
I used to frequent r/atheism back before it got cucked, and I can tell you that religion has far more of a negative effect than a positive one. I literally have a folder on my computer full of screenshots of posts from that subreddit that are all some variant of "Help! my parents found out I'm gay/an atheist, and now they're making my life miserable/abusing me/kicking me out" or "my highly Christian school found out I'm gay/an atheist, and now everyone bullies me, even the TEACHERS."
Yeah. That shit happens. All the time.
The Church might feel like a welcoming place that provides community and guidance ect, ect, but that's only to people who toe the line. To anyone else it can be incredibly harmful. That's why it deserves to be mocked. That's why we can't just live and let live. Because in the words of Matt Dillahunty, "I want to believe as many true things and as few false things as possible." Because I understand that my beliefs inform my actions, and when you believe false things, you open yourself up to doing bad things with good intentions.
[–]ejhockey4 points5 points6 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
There is also no scientific proof that flying pigs don't exist. There is no scientific proof that a Chinese tea pot orbiting the sun between Earth and Mars doesn't exist (see "Russell's teapot").
The proof is required by the one claiming existence of something. You can't just make something up and then require others to prove it doesn't exist.

We don't understand near death experiences. We don't really know what really happens in the brain when we take psychedelics.
Near-death experiences and psychedelics are actually well researched and how they affect sensory perception, you are clearly just making up pseudoscientific bullshit without knowing literally anything about biology to make yourself sound credible. Also there may not be proof that a god doesnt exist but there is evidence that the gods we have made up eg Chrisitian god, Muslim god do no exist through contradictions of their actions and recordings in scriptures.
[–]McUserton-1 points0 points1 point 6 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
You can't prove a negative, but the lack of evidence is evidence of the absence.
Edit: having said that, I'm still pro Christian, despite being an atheist. Christianity has a eugenic effect, as you indicated regarding all religions. Islam does as well, and God knows they understand women better than Christians (and treat them accordingly), but the religion is the most violent one, by far. And to anyone who retorts "crusades," please go fuck yourself with your ignorant moral equivalence.

It's pretty easy to prove the contents of most religious systems wrong with science. What many religious texts hold up as their absolute undeniable version of history are laughable in the face of what we now know about the world. That doesn't mean God or gods do not exist, but it does mean we don't have to entertain the ridiculous concepts these stone age cults propagate.

It has nothing to do with a belief in god or religion. It's more a matter of self-interest. It's natural to oppose anything that you feel would lower your standard of living or your standard of personal welfare. Even when it comes to immigration from 3rd world places.

that is absolutely wrong.
Ive also studied the major religions, i even looked into the old forgotten ones and theres ONE God who is different from all the other gods in all of the other religions.
This God is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, who is Jesus Christ.
The difference between him and the other Gods is that he himself died for the sins of his creation, so that by grace everybody could be saved and have the eternal life.
There is no other religion that offers anything close as Jesus Christ.
In all the other religions you have to earn your way to paradise, but here its God himself who makes the way.
You just have to lay aside your pride, be humble, admit that youre a sinner and accept Jesus as your Lord and saviour.
In no other religions is there an easier way to get to paradise.

In all other faiths, man is the one who suffers under God's justice, as flawed as it is. But in Christianity, God suffers under our justice, as flawed as it is and forgives us in spite of it.
Powerful stuff.

The problem with atheism is that it throws the baby out with the bath water instead of wrestling further with such a huge phenomenon. Religions offer narratives that have boiled down to productive meta truths which communicate and pass on much better as story. Generation after generation of people find them valuable for teaching and structuring society. Notice how many people end up back in churches when kids come along, they are trying to instill wisdom about navigating life and its consequences to their kids. There is a straiter and narrower path that yields better results. God is an easy word to sum up causality and the human communal network, the proper respect of this (the fear of God), is the beginning of wisdom. And I argue that the protestant christian faiths have evolved to have the most functional (highest fitness) of the faiths. Its not that religion is holding us back, no in fact christianity is the reason we have gotten this far and gone to space. So foolish to try and throw it all away. We saw what happened in europe and russia with the “death of god” which neische predicted. Which is ironic how the typical leftist atheist types bemoan God as some bloodthirsty tyrant throwing people into hell at the slightest grievance, BUT Then they go and communally manifest that very same god in the state with massive surveillance, bloated powers, and ever encroaching unforgiving asinine laws that will throw you into concentration camp hell.
God as some bloodthirsty tyrant throwing people into hell at the slightest grievance
Because according to his own book, he is... So why would I follow his rules and not just mine as i go through life, never failed me as much as your God has failed humanity (if he was real, wich he isn't)

[–]DigitalScetis-2 points-1 points0 points 6 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Well then maybe you can explain it; why do the lot of these people who believe in this gender stuff consider themselves atheist?
Is it the atheism that caused the belief in the trans stuff? Or is it the trans stuff that caused the atheistic mindset?
[–]deSuspect1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Believing in gender stuff and being an atheists does not equal all atheist believing that. It's the same as all squares being rectangles but not all rectangles being squares. It's just a coincidence that you met a lot of people believing gender stuff also being atheists.
[–]DigitalScetis1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
What you say is true insofar as not all rectangles (atheists) are squares (postmodern gender attitudes). But I find it hard to believe that this is a coincidence that those who promote postmodern gender attitudes just happen to be atheists.
If it was a coincidence, we'd see people who believe in the gender stuff reflect the levels of atheism in the population at large.
But identifying in atheism, and identifying in the gender stuff, is highly correlated to the point that belief in the gender stuff can serve as a proxy for identifying as an atheist.
And I just want to understand why. Is it something in atheism that leads to this experimentation in theorizing on their parts? Or is there something in the gender bending that erodes confidence in faith systems?
That's all. Atheism is your worldview, after all. I thought I'd give you the dignity of explaining why the correlation is there.
[–]deSuspect1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
People that belive in gender stuff and all that sjw bullshit are also very vocal about it so you hear about everywhere.
[–]DigitalScetis-1 points0 points1 point 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
You'll get no argument from me there.
Still, it doesn't explain the reason why those who believe in the gender stuff also identify as atheist to such a phenomenally large extent. What is it about atheism that these types find appealing, or what is it in atheism that cultivates such attitudes about gender? That's the interesting question.
[–]deSuspect1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Because people that belive in gender stuff are more "progressive" thus are going with a trend of going away from church. Also are more vocal so you hear about it more.
As a convinsed atheist I can tell you that a dude that cut off his dick and puts on a dress and makeup is still a dude

[–]PMmepicsofyourtits1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
What you're ignoring is the cultural transmission that religion does. Look a Zeus. He runs Mt Olympus. He's the strongest god and everyone knows it. Who's his wife? Hera, goddess of the hearth and home.
Why's that? Because in Greek culture, women ran the household. And that value is transferred through the storytelling of religion.
Why is Ares, god of war, an asshole? Because war is unpleasant. Why is Hephaestus, the ugliest, crippled god, married to Aphrodite, the most beautiful goddess? Because it was an arranged marriage, that Hephaestus earned from her father. How did he get paid back his dowry? He caught his wife cheating.
All aspects of Greek culture given character and form.
[–]roflcopt0rz_returns1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Religion is bullshit when it comes to "there's a fucking invisible man in the sky watching u lol" and all that stuff, and seriously fuck the creationists.
But religion is important when it comes to reeling people in so they don't go off the rails and do dumb shit and self-destruct, such as teaching the seven deadly sins and seven heavenly virtues, and telling men to keep their pimp hands strong. Just look at the current far left and that's what happens when you lose religion.
Religion pushed a lot of dumb shit and was responsible for a lot of bad things (e.g. Spanish Inquisition), but it was also critical for a lot of important things like the nuclear family. The average human is fucking retarded and has no self-restraint and religion is very helpful in keeping them in line.
Basically, religion is a necessary evil, and as long as it's not forced onto people and said people learn to keep their religions to themselves it produces mostly good.
Indeed, religion is to control people, I don't like to be controlled so I don't like religion.

The goal of the elite is to sever the relationship of mankind and spirituality, to replace it with a nihilistic condemnation for morality as an excuse for unfettered consumerism and materialism. Making man think he is merely a biological robot, with no higher purpose, other than to work, spend money (another construct of the elite), ejaculate, consume food, alcohol, drugs, or mental junk food and die, being in debt to the system that enslaved him.

I agree with that part. Religion is a way to control people with promise of afterlife. If people would not belive in it most of would just start fucking shit up. You have a very narrow mind. You should try and broaden your thought process. I'm not making an argument for a supernatural God but the thing you need to understand is that religion is a shared story that we can all "know". It acts as explored territory in idea space and gives large groups of people the ability to talk about complex ideas through the story structure and be able to understand one another. Quite frankly it doesn't matter if God exists or not because the idea of God has the power of God.
If you want to read a book about how religion functions and the necessity of religion and the necessity of the functions of religion I recommend "maps of meaning"

Actually, there is scientific proof that God(s) exists.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G%C3%B6del%27s_ontological_proof
Godel is no hack. His incompleteness theorem revolutionized mathematics. It was his ideas that Turing and John Von Neumann used as the basis of computer science. The proof doesn't say anything about if praying works or that one religion is better than another. However, it is a scientific fact that people that practice certain religions with certain cultural ideas have built the most successful societies. Atheist cultures always devolve into hedonistic and tribal cultures. BTW, I am lifelong agnostic and a de facto atheist and don't follow any religion. However, I also know that science says it would be better for society if we all practice a Judeo-Christian religion and that logically/mathematically there has to be some kind of God. My current view is we need to adapt current religions to be consistent with science. The Jordan Peterson vs Sam Harris debates do a good job getting to the core of the issue. They are both trying to resolve scientific truth with the apparent societal need for religion from different perspectives. Anti-male Leftism is a secular religion that has replaced Christianity for many in Western cultures. MGTOW is a logical consequence of that secular religion. Human history indicates we will become tribal and violent as a result of this cultural change.

[–]Octoxo-3 points-2 points-1 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yes, but the right mythology is a human necessity to keep societies working. In addition, the logical foundations of mathematics require the existence of a God and that's not mythology, it just something you don't understand. Some of the greatest logical minds in history Einstein, Godel, and Von Neumann all agreed with this point. Learn about these great men and their ideas before you assume you know better.

Because, of course, if there isn’t measurable objective verifiable proof for it it’s totally unimportant. Which takes care of music, literature, art, philosophy, ethics, any form of love or loyalty or friendship— where’s the empirical proof supporting the meaning of friendship, after all? I can listen to music, read literature, look at or create art, or consider ethics. Loyalty & friendship are based on observable reality and respect because the opposite parties, are tangible humans.
I'm not basing my life on religious sentiment and human fabricated scriptures from long dead mid-east desert tribes
[–]redditrat99-1 points0 points1 point 6 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
You're focusing on the wrong part of religion. Is it all fabricated stories, yes. Are laws just fabricated directives? yes. But we follow the laws because they reduce chaos and encourage harmony. In the same way, religions (eh.. most) promote order, self sacrifice, and decency using laws set forth "by god" which, of course, means wise men with (usually) good ideas several thousand years ago. It's the same way we pull on laws set forth several hundreds of years ago by our founders. Can they be corrupted and twisted? Of course, we are humans and humans are naturally evil and corrupt. Hence, the utility of religion because unlike laws set by man, where the "don't get caught" mentality prevails, religious laws are "don't do it because it is wrong and because, no matter what, you will be punished" It has a different weight when you can't deceive the persecutor (god).
My point being is that humans need an intrinsic and pervasive moral compass because we are immoral, directionless beasts. The fact that it was created by man 2000+ years ago is irrelevant.
So, in short, chill out edge-lord.

" Which takes care of music, literature, art, philosophy, ethics, any form of love or loyalty or friendship— where’s the empirical proof supporting the meaning of friendship, after all? "
I think you are confusing empirical evidence for quantifiable evidence. You can measure the heart rate, brain waves, hormones of a person experiencing such things but trying to create an equation of sorts that this much increase in X chemical will result in this behavior to this degree is very difficult.
The question of the supernatural having any evidence to support it is not disputable, it does not exist. The consequences of the beliefs of such things do however, people act depending on what they belief and want (among other uncontrollable factors like genetics).
" Because, of course, if there isn’t measurable objective verifiable proof for it it’s totally unimportant. "
The only people that seem to argue this are the ones that wish to destroy the current belief paradigm and replace it with their own. Those that become convinced of the lack of evidence are likely mostly driven to convince others of the same due to the evidence and logical conclusions, not because any ideology (don't really know outside my own case however).
I saw the religion as fake, full of lies and contradictions, and an inherent scam because of what they taught and did was not based on reality. Since it isn't based on reality then it can end up doing more harm than good.

Not sure I'm particularly worried.
I feel like I was duped into marrying and having kids. Now I'm a corporate wage slave prisoner tethered to the corporate world by golden handcuffs. I'll never realize my dreams. That's my reality. I can't do what I want with my life. As soon as I became a "family man", my financial responsibilities are just so, so very much bigger than me.
I'm a piece of the old economy, the old society, the the old social structure. I'm part of what is holding together what you are worried is going to fall apart. I'm a slave to it. A wage slave who cannot live for myself.
Is there some sinister force of will driving the destruction of the traditional family in a bid to ruin the western world? I don't think so. I think people are seriously underestimating the destructive, corruptive force of hypergamy. Simply, hypergamy itself is plenty capable of tearing society to pieces.
But this is our opportunity. Women's hypergamy has desolved men's responsibilities towards them. Chasing the dream of raising a family was the most restrictive and damaging delusion we as men could possibly have. That dream is being totally deconstructed in front of our eyes.
The dream of "raising a family" is becoming an impossibility as much as it is a liability. And good riddance!!!
That dream was never worth preserving. It was for women. Ironically, the gender that is destroying the traditional family life is the gender who are losing out. Women need that traditional family life to reach fulfillment in their own lives. They can't without it. But for men, we now have a chance to walk away from that delusion and find our own fulfillment for ourselves.
If that delusional dream loses it's perceived value to men, then so will women loose their ridiculously inflated value. That's how society will correct itself. Until women are valued only on what they are practically worth, until they loose all of the value they currently have, you cannot do anything to affect in any way, the direction of society at all.
Doing nothing but walking away and not valuing women's sexuality at all is the best and only thing men can do for this world. And that's great for us. There's so much more for us if we just walk away. We can be happy, content and actually, honestly confident in our own skins and value ourselves as we find and obtain what we love in our world if we just leave women and their hypergamy behind.

“religion which helps the people...” is not always true. Religion can be turned radical and can be weaponized. Around 500 AD, Religion casted society into the dark ages and didn’t promote scientific advancement so that didn’t help us at all.
Unless you can provide a solid source, there’s no reason to believe that atheism is a direct link to nihilistic degeneracy and/or will result in a lack of breeding. If anything, atheism promotes sex because a great majority of religions enforce the idea of abstinence from premarital sex.
[–]six-twosix1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I could very well say that atheism is harmful due to the fact that in one century alone, atheistic regimes have killed more people than the entire history of the catholic church combined. It could also be said that they hindered the process of science and development as they would kill anyone smart enough to oppose them, even if that opposition was unintentional.
If correlation equals causation, you have a lot of questions to answer.
Furthermore, there's a lot of propaganda against the catholic church, and it's supposed fight against science. I'd advice to read some history as the answers are there. The dark ages were not due to religion at all, but in fact was a product of the fall of the Roman Empire.
In fact, outside of Europe, the rest of the world, mostly religious, was making advancements In science and technology. Here's a helpful video for more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QV7CanyzhZg&t=373s
Saying all that, I'm not sure if you realize that premarital sex has a lot of drawbacks more so than it has benefits. If what you want is more people, sure it'll do the job. But if you want a stable society, you're gonna have try something else.
[–]sergantfloop0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
“atheistic regimes have killed more people than the entire history of the catholic church combined”
What is your source for this statement?
Pretty sure you’re not taking into account terrorism associated with religion and the number of religious wars that have been going on throughout history. I’m going to assume you know of the crusades.
What “Atheist regimes” are you talking about? That is such a broad statement.
“If correlation equals causation, you have a lot of questions to answer.”
Well luckily correlation does not equal casuation, so not sure why you felt the need to point that out.
No matter what, any religious organizations (particularly the catholic church) does not approve of scientific fact, but rather they operate on faith. We all know the church advocates this rather than scientific evidence so from a evolutionary standpoint, we would be much more advanced society had it not been for this kind of opposition.
And while premarital sex might sound like a good idea on paper, anyone that has a shred of common sense knows that those arrangements in real life won’t fix anything, and they almost never work out. What if you get married and they’re terrible in bed? Sex is a big part of marriage and relationships that don’t have it clearly suffer for it.
[–]six-twosix0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Starting with this since you might not read the rest, I wouldn't blame you, it's a lot.
"What if you get married and they’re terrible in bed?"
- Then you both work it out, and explore each other... like our ancestors have done for thousands of years. Marriage back then is not what it is now, people didn't really care much about love, rather they cared about survival, and an easy living. They were also not as self-centered as we are now.
I'm not saying you're wrong, monogamy has its downsides, but it's actually what paved the way towards our civilization. Compared to monogamy, premarital sex is just too chaotic, hence our current issues such as single motherhood, children growing without fathers thus increasing the crime rate, etc, etc.
"What is your source for this statement?"
- According to the Encyclopedia of Wars, out of all 1,763 known/recorded historical conflicts, 123, or 6.98%, had religion as their primary cause. If you factor Islam out of the equation, only 3% of all wars throughout history were for religious motives. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_war
Due to the fact that the population was much lower than it is now, such religious wars would have only resulted in the death of a couple hundred people, maybe a few thousand at max.
"What “Atheist regimes” are you talking about? That is such a broad statement."
- And yet you clump all religions together, hmmm...
The USSR government under Stalin and Vladimir were founded on atheistic principles, in fact, they bragged about being atheists, Stalin was no stranger to this. They hated any form of religion and thus began to eradicate religious sites and imprison or kill religious leaders and anyone who opposed such a command.
Communist China under Mao Zedong was also founded under atheistic principles, and religious folk were persecuted. Only Buddhism was tolerated but overall the goal was to eradicate religion altogether. I could go on, but these two leaders alone were responsible for the death of about 80 million people (some historians say the numbers are higher). No religion has ever caused that many deaths in the history of man kind, specially in such a short amount of time. Many of these communist regimes, such as Pol Pot, targeted smart people so as to dumb down the population and thus make it easier to rule.
"Well luckily correlation does not equal casuation, so not sure why you felt the need to point that out."
- Because no historian or philosopher would come to the conclusion that just because a certain ruler or government committed acts of violence or slowed scientific progress translate to their worldview or religion condoning such acts.
"No matter what, any religious organizations (particularly the catholic church) does not approve of scientific fact."
- What "religious organizations" are you talking about? that is such a broad statement.
Look, I'm not a catholic, I don't even have catholic friends, in fact, I probably hate the catholic church almost as much as you do. But based on human history, catholicism opposing science is a crock of shit. Most popes and priests were philosophers, mathematicians, doctors, artists, and inventors. The church didn't tell them to leave all that at the door, no, they PAID for their education. The famous Thomas Aquinas went to many universities throughout his life, and by the end of it, he was a philosopher, and a doctor.
It's not the religion that is to blame, but the ruling powers. Power corrupts, and it doesn't matter if you're religious or non-religious. No one is excluded from this, not even atheists. Did some popes had their quarrels with science or slowed scientific progress? sure, lets say that they did. This however in no way translates to the overall religion being anti-science. And thus, you come to the erroneous conclusion that correlation equals causation. As I said, the halt of scientific progress during the dark ages, was not due to religious rule, but to the economy. After all, it's kinda hard to study, when your literally dying of famine or disease.
Hell even Islam, and I can tell you, I reeeeaaaalllllyyy don't like Islam. But even Islam or Hinduism or whatever, none of those religions are actively against science. In fact (as shown in the video I sent) a lot of the scientific breakthroughs we've had has been the direct result of religious folk expressing their devotion to their religion.
Religion is thus not for or against science, a lot of religions are the direct result of humans wanting to have an explanation for what they see, such as lightning being the result of Thor's hammer. This is not anti-scientific at all, in fact, it's better than nothing. Continuing to believe in the face of evidence is what's anti-science. In the same way, belief in God is not anti-scientific. You could say there is no empirical evidence for a God, and I'd say you'd be right. But empirical evidence is not the only road to truth, that leads to scientism, which is preposterous. After all, there has been a few instances in which religious claims have indeed been correct scientifically.
I want to explain more but this is getting far to long. Thank you for reading.

Around 500 AD, Religion casted society into the dark ages and didn’t promote scientific advancement so that didn’t help us at all.
That sounds so retard
Unless you can provide a solid source, there’s no reason to believe that atheism is a direct link to nihilistic degeneracy
So, a religion whose core belief is that there is no higher power or higher purpose in life, a religion that pretty much gives us a pass to do whatever the heck we want in this life, because of literal YOLO(you only live once), lacks the degeneracy?
You do not deserve the title "champion of reason"
[–]sergantfloop0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Whether you like it or not, religion does not advocate science. It never has. Their systems run off faith.
And just because you don’t believe in a god does not make you a degenerate. You have the freedom to choose between good and evil. Never said I was champion of anything, but the fact that you associate those who do not serve some made up fairy tale with degeneracy, tells me that you are the champion of headass.

Nailed it. Saving this. Lots of us like to think that by "MGTOW" we are opting out of the the battle. But we are actually creating a new frontier - one exclusively dominated by disenfranchised fighting-age men. And there's nothing the opposition can do about it because ours is a natural response to their refusal to acknowledge our very existence. We already won this one, boys. Keep fighting. Relgion is not the cause of war, it the difference of opinion.
God or no God it doesn't matter people have killed for less.
Look it at it like there wars and countries devided over the same dam god, protestans and cathlotics both forms of Cristianaity. Yet they hate each other because there book and opinions are slightly different. The same everywhere republican and libral they hate each other because there opinions different from there own.
Opinions are the foundation of a society, the laws, how it works. If don't believe me I give you an example in the UK put somthing called sugar tax. Now in other countries you might not have this.
But it was someone opinion and idea that we should not be allowed to enjoy it, so they stuck a tax on it and made us pay more. If they really wanted to be cunts they could of out lawed it. Because ever in charge of the country can force whatever opinion they like down your throat, dictatorships are built on 1 persons dreams and opinions, hitler wanted his prefect world and his opinion on the Jews was they where the problem, so he got rid of them. History repeats itself and humanity has only advanced in technology that's it. Humans are the same old greedy, selfish creatures that only desire to fulfil there inner greed and desires.
Let's all be honest and don't say you would not because you're lying if denie this.
If we had all the power in the world to do whatever the hell we please we force our beliefs and opinions on everyone. Because I sure hell know I would, why would I want to live in a world where I'm equal or treated like shit. No one really wants that, they just say they do because they think the correct thing to say. Peace is utter crap and everyone knows it. Only delusional idiots desire world peace.
If you want prefection, then must be willing sacrifice everything for you're cause, for your opinion to rule over all else.
As much as some people hate the Chinese for what they do, they where smart about it, they more advanced than us because they force there opinions so hard that you dare step out of line, you get killed.
But know what it's funny people in there broke ass socialist society cry about the Chinese being oppressive and violent, yet in there country they have the lowest crime rate, because they control everything.
As much as someone will hate me for this, but I'm willing to accept everyone opinions are different and we all have different outlooks.

Oh it's worse than that. It's not just "4 years". In the US, women wait literally until the last possible moment of their fertility. Then they hope to flick a switch and have husbands swarm around them.
Those women that do manage to attract a husband in the twilight of their fertility often see their bodies destroyed by childbirth. Unlike 20 year old mothers, whose bodies 'bounce back', mothers in their thirties tend to be physically wrecked by the experience. This reduction in physical attractiveness ensures fewer births and often shorter marriages -- because like it or not, men of all ages are attracted to women who are 20. (Yes, 20: https://metro.co.uk/2019/02/22/men-regardless-age-will-always-attracted-women-early-20s-8718590/ ... Despite what fashion magazines tell women about beautiful 40 year olds. It simply isn't true statistically. Over 25 is not nearly as attractive. Over 30 just isn't -- cherry-picked examples aside).
Beauty may be a social construct. But sexy isn't. Sexy is bound to youth. More specifically: To 20. And every year after that is a steep drop.
From a male perspective, marriage to a woman over the age of 26 presents drastically reduced value proposition: Instead of a beautiful wife for 10 years, men today sign up for a year or two of faded looks (if even that) and a fast-track to physical decline after birth.
Making matters worse, the vast majority of women are mentally and emotionally incapable of falling in love with men who earn less than they do. They just can't do it. They will deny this point until the cows come home, but the facts don't lie: Female doctors do not marry male nurses. Female pilots do not marry male air hosts. Female restaurant owners don't marry male waiters.
The gender opposite is not just possible -- it's everywhere.
The behavioral programming of females to seek 'more powerful' men is buried deep in our human DNA. No amount of feminism is going to purge it, any more than feminism will purge male attraction to 20 year old females. It turns out, instinct is powerful stuff. Feminism treats human sexuality as intrinsically malleable, expecting men to ignore their natural desire. (An ironically non-liberal premise).
As women pursue careers and higher education in larger numbers, the pool of men who are more successful than they are (and therefore attractive to them) winnows.... Ensuring their eventual dissatisfaction.
Consider that most college graduates are female today. That means there will be an increasing number of college educated women who won't be able to find a college educated male. And these women probably won't even start looking until they're in their late 20's.
In short, Western women have fucked themselves. And guess who gets to hear about their dissatisfaction: We do.
Walk away. Get a dog.
[–]inertargongas36 points37 points38 points 6 years ago* (11 children) | Copy Link
most college graduates are female today
Women are increasingly the only ones willing to saddle themselves with crippling debt for a questionable return on investment when you consider the cost of college today. Infer from that what you will..
women wait literally until the last possible moment of their fertility
So true! I witness this everywhere I go. I met a still decently attractive 29 year old the other day. Sure enough, she's relationship averse, still not ready to settle down. She's gotta get every last ounce of mileage out of the cock carousel first. Sure, the pickings have been slimmer lately, but one decently valuable guy showed a fleeting interest in her recently, so clearly he's put a floor on her options. Despite being the best that's presently available to her, he's now considered the worst she could do!
Life as a modern Western woman must be so miserably disappointing. It's just one long campaign of newer and more innovative self delusions being torn apart by brutal uncaring reality. Count how many tears I'll shed for them though. Zero.

Humanity itself is going to survive the next thousand years one way or another. The big question is, will the coming millennia include another dark age? Or will we find a way to preserve the light of reason, and keep technological progress moving forward? If society devolves, and cannibalizes its thinkers and builders, that puts us decisively on the former track. If every woman continues to exclusively fuck Chads, and the offspring of those single mothers grow up to be degenerate losers, this party will draw to a quick close, not even very far into the millennium. Men built the amazing world of surplus and comfort we live in, and yet nobody gives a shit that the male condition is deteriorating rapidly. They're too self absorbed to realize how acutely this deterioration affects even them.

As fossil fuel gets more scarce, its price will increase, making renewables a better investment, meaning their rate of adoption will accelerate. That whole problem kinda solves itself just through free market forces, at least in principle.
[–]basedmillennial950 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I totally agree with you but this isn't a market problem. This is a "we're two hours away from the total and complete collapse of Western Civilization" problem. Free market won't help when we don't have the fossil fuels to engineer/create solar panels or whatever renewable energy source. We transitioned from steam to internal combustion but we still needed the steam power.

And yet every single atheist nation is dying.
Atheist Europe has been overrun and conquered by the Muslims without a single shot fired. Atheist Japan and Korea are in the throws of demographic winter and Korea will begin to decline in population as soon as 2028. Atheist China is not that far behind them due to their one child policy. The atheist United States thinks it can avoid demographic winter and welfare collapse by throwing the borders wide open. Yet all it has done is unofficially (and soon officially) balkanized the nation. Let's not forget that the Soviet Union and all it's satellite states had atheism as it's state religion and we all know how that worked out.
Atheism is inherently nihilistic and hedonistic. No matter what the 'moral atheists' want to claim, the West's morals declined as soon as Atheism replaced Christianity as the dominant religion of the West in the early 70s. If there is no moral absolute (a God or gods) then there is no need to act morally. We see this all around the Degenerated States of Weirmerica.
The future belongs to those who show up and atheism does not promote reproduction. Yes we all know the birthrates shit the bed when feminism came into the picture however feminism's influence can be deadened by religion. For instance the only groups growing in the developed world are heavily religious groups such as the amish, mormons, orthodox jews, and of course the muslims. Atheists have a much smaller number of reproduction.
Ultimately religion is here to stay because it is a necessity to civilization. Every nation that has and will exist will have a state religion. As we have seen in the past 70 or so years Atheism is a terrible state religion and has, or is in the process of, killing every single state that has adapted it.

> The oceans are dying rapidly.
How so?
[–]inertargongas5 points6 points7 points 6 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
Populations of every species in the ocean are collapsing. Massive fleets of fishing boats are roaming the last areas of the planet where fish stocks have not already been driven to extinction, violating laws all over the place and delivering a finishing blow to the remaining populations. The huge growth of fish farming creates demand for otherwise inedible small wild caught ocean fish as feed stock, and as those populations are fished to extinction, everything in the food chain that depends on them is starving to death. Light/energy doesn't make it down into the depths of the ocean, so the creatures that live deep down only have what food and energy they get from organisms closer to the surface, and those are disappearing. Plastics are becoming more and more ubiquitous in oceans the world over, and it only promises to get worse. Any creature unfortunate enough to try to eat even a single plastic bag will never be the same again. If it doesn't choke and die immediately, its stomach will be partially or fully lined with the plastic in a way that prevents it from ever properly digesting for the remainder of its life. Plastic bags look like jellyfish, so anything that eats jellyfish is suffering and dying the world over.. the great barrier reef is mostly dead for reasons I don't understand. Possibly ocean acidification, which primarily affects surface waters, where life is most abundant. Acidification also has the effect of dissolving the shells of living shellfish, meaning those will soon be a thing of the past, as well as anything that depended on them for survival such as octopus, starfish, etc. I don't know how the ocean's kelp and other tiny creatures are doing, but I'm guessing Not Great!! Algae blooms from agricultural fertilizer runoff are creating massive dead zones easily visible from space. Anything that swims into these zones straight up suffocates from a shortage of oxygen. These are growing all over the planet, where rivers carry runoff into the ocean, where it accumulates. I have to guess by extension that this is severely impacting estuaries, which have traditionally been some of the most biologically productive environments on the planet.

Maybe the government should t be so inept they their policies aren’t based on the complete destruction of all its resources blindly while basing everything on a constantly growing population.
Nations destroy themselves by being greedy and retarded.

1st world pop growth is already in the decline. It's places in the 3rd world like Africa that are still bumping up the global population.
[–]inertargongas7 points8 points9 points 6 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Africa's set to add another billion people over the next 30 years. Because the first billion is going so well! The world's going to go to shit for that reason alone. Europeans think the migrant crisis is bad now lol. It doesn't matter how many you feed or how many you take in, they will make more, and more, and more.. until you not only can't take care of them, but you can't take care of yourself either.

There lies the rub. They receive millions of dollars in aid, yet are still so insistent on raising their population. They're more or less sitting on a bubble, growing it ever larger.
When it pops, it'll very likely be the biggest population decline the world has seen.
[–]inertargongas5 points6 points7 points 6 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link
All the good intentions in the world won't fix what ails that continent and its backwards ass cultures. A hundred years of sending them food and building their houses and digging their wells and improving their sanitation, and all it does is allow for a larger population, and an inflating of the problem that they lack self sufficiency.
You should check out that Netflix show about Bill Gates trying to solve major world problems. A big problem in Africa is that what passes for a toilet is basically a hole in the ground, and human pathogens are allowed to mix with drinking water, making people severely ill. The Gates solution is to make a waste treatment facility that doesn't require any chemical inputs or electric power, since those won't be available or affordable to the people in need. So they spend hundreds of millions engineering this contraption that can sanitize human waste and turn it into ash, while supplying its own energy. Great, right?
The problem is that the thing costs tens of millions to build that nobody in Africa can afford, and not only that, it requires a team of skilled engineers who don't exist in sub-Saharan Africa. And even then, it only serves the population of a small town. I guarantee this thing is either sitting unused, or has been dismantled by the locals for its scrap value. All of that talent, capital and potential wasted, when what they probably needed was just an improved hole in the ground to shit in..

4 years of study and 4 for their career?
Come to DC or NYC. All women have 7+ years of undergrad, master, and internships.
In their mid 20s they’re just starting their careers and having fun. By 30, they’re finally moving up the government or corporate ladder, and now it’s time to really give everything to their career.
Maybe at 34 they’re finally noticing that a bunch of Facebook friends have little kids already starting school, and then it’s time to find the nice guy. Based on my own anecdotes, a lot of them are still looking at 40...

Gents, no need to worry about religion. If it works for you, then go for it. If it doesn’t, don’t go for it. We are distracted from the main point of this article.
The woman who focuses on a career and the carousel will never be happy. The woman who has a family and then cheats because she didn’t have enough “good sex” is never happy.
There needs to be consequences for destroying a family from either the male or the female. No fault divorce destroyed accountability.
Bottom line is that women are never happy no matter what. Islam was right about women.

In the words of Buckminster fuller:
"The historical consequence of this eons-ago-commenced employment of this grand strategy of 'divide to conquer and keep divided to keep conquered' accounts for the 'natural' acceptance today by world peoples of the seemingly 'God-given' existence of 150 sovereign nations of the world and their respective geographical division of all the world's dry land (as well as for all the specialized categories of human activities)".

Hmmm this sounds a bit Incel to be honest. Our focus should be helping men, if women don’t want kids or want to pursue a career or whatever the fuck they want is not our problem.
Again, we should be helping men!

Time to sit back and watch it all crumble.
You know also that this could also apply to men in the MTOW group? It takes two to tango. If one partner refuses to dance for whatever reason then there is no tango. So being an MGTOW man means I don't want to tango and I don't feel the need to. No need to put up with a marriage or having a family. I just want to be myself.

The most bluepilled and politically correct way to explain why empowering women results in no kids is to explain that women cannot be in two places at once. They either raise kids, OR they go to school + work. Then tack on the idea that women can have healthy kids past ~35 is a myth disproven with science, and a dangerous myth at that.
Obviously, this is only a partial truth (raising kids isn't actually that fucking hard, but women as a collective are so incompetent that taking care of kids is basically a full time job for them... however if you frame it like I did, you keep up the illusion of "taking care of kids is so hard" that bluepillers believe in) and leaves out many other factors that empowering women causes (e.g. voting for more socialist/leftist policies while kicking fathers out of their lives) but this is the simplest and most vanilla way to explain it and to try and drop the tiniest red pill onto the audience, and it is framed in a way that places absolutely no blame or responsibility on women. It is essentially saying "there are only 24 hours in a day and women don't know fucking Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, and women scientifically have problems birthing kids once they're past their fertility window". Funny enough, some soyboys are so cucked they STILL somehow construe this as an attack on women and flail madly at me, but this does help get some blue pillers in the door, moreso than if I said something like "women are gold digging whores lol".

To make it really effective, convince the women who would help raise the most prosperous, solid, effective families that instead, they should work at a law firm or become VP of Marketing somewhere. If they had instead focused on their children and their families they could become independent. They could think for themselves. They could raise their kids as they saw fit. But instead, train them to want to work sixty hours a week, neglect their husbands, and then feel guilty because they're not Marissa Mayer. Who, by the way, can "do it all" because she has an army of highly-paid help. That will absolutely handicap their kids, and them, and help solidify your control. Particularly if the divorce rate is 50% -- the chances of the ones who could really cause trouble doing anything are vastly less if they're single moms or, best of all, don't have kids at all. Then you own them.
