Yes, sadly just like in other crime there should be an analysis wether said person in mentally ill, and since most women who falsely accuse are mentally ill (and in general alot of women are mentally ill, that is not a hyperbol almost 25% of women are on some sort medication for mental illnes), alot of these women will not get full and hard prison sentences they will be put in a mental hospital and be done with their punishment relatively easy. Ofcourse the man if it is not clear up that it is a false accusation will be put into jail for the long and hard time. So yes women who falsely accuse men of rape should deserve the same prision sentence as the men who they accuse, however these women will probably never see hard time.

If they were found to purposefully lie about it and use rape as a shield to ruin a person's life 100% yes they should be locked up.

But I don't think every person should be locked up simply for accusing someone of rape and not finding that person guilty. This would deter females from coming forward when it happens. It's not as simple as not guilty = they should rot.

I would say yes but there should be some lines drawn.

1st actual rape easiest to explain my opinion on. If a man or women is charged and found guilty of rape and both sides told the truth in the case the perpetrator goes to jail.

2nd the accused is found not guilty and the plaintiff lied during the trial. This should be a charge of perjury against the plaintiff with jail time up to fifteen years.

3rd Not guilty no lies on either side. Before you say this would never happen it is possible due to the completely absurd way rape is defined which is forced penetration into the mouth, anus, vagina etc. so an example of this coming would be person A forces themselves onto person B. Person B files a police report and takes person A to court on a charge of rape and sexual assault. The outcome of the trial is that Person A is guilty of sexual assault but found not guilty on the charge of rape. Pretty self-explanatory in my eyes.

Last but not least. Plaintiff lies and defendant is found guilty. If the case ever gets overuled the plaintiff should be A) Charged with perjury with max jail time plus the amount of time remaining on the defendants sentence.

2 women reported to police that they have been raped. one of the women is an actual victim, the other one just likes to ruin a guys life. The police are busy and will only be able to help one victim so it's helping the fake victim instead of the actual victim. Another thing to think about, have you heard the story about the boy who cried wolf? The more false rape reports, the less likely rape report will be taken seriously, real or fake.

False imprisonment if the guy was arrested, even for a short time. This is the most serious offense of which women would be guilty. It should be the most vigorously prosecuted. Policemen operating in good faith are NOT guilty of this, just the woman because SHE caused the wrongful imprisonment.

It needs to be said that there is a chasm of difference between an inconclusive determination of rape due to lack of evidence and therefore not guilty, AND a non-guilty verdict due to evidence showing the accuser to be lying. The latter is the one that needs to be charged.
