I wish this weren't true. But it is God's own truth.

My time is very regimented, which means work, workouts, even pleasure, and this includes being disciplined about sleep. Of course, the wife cannot organize her life, so she's frequently up late with projects. Regardless of how many times I ask, she frequently bangs around at night, disturbing my sleep.

One night a couple of months ago, I was up later than her. This happens maybe once a year. I needed something from the room, and had to turn on the light. The wife blew a gasket, screaming and yelling about my insensitivity.

I mean, after a while you become immune to the bullshit. But this one even shocked me - the rank hypocrisy.
