I had a conversation with my female cousin who was complaining about dating ("no good men" kinda talk) and I went through her list of requirements with her and then asked her one simple question and boy did she flip out.

You want him to be taller than you, right? -Yes she says. You want him to make more money than you? -Yes (hesitantly). You want him to be stronger than you? -Well, duh. You want him to know how to do more DIY type stuff? -Yes. You want him to have muscles but not have a "fat belly." -Yes. You want him to be more educated than yourself? -Yes

Okay, I say- so he's bigger, stronger, taller, makes more money, can do more things, is smarter/better educated etc. So that means you want someone better than you. Have you ever considered his perspective? He'd be dating someone beneath him. So, question, what do you bring to the table?
