This isn't a cult. It's not like feminism, you're free to do what you want whenever you want.

The whole point of socializing this and people telling stories is you can play your own path to what you consider success in life, with warnings that never used to be given before, behind what really happens if you follow certain well worn paths.

90% of problems in life can be fixed by simply never relying on a partner to use birth control, never get mired in a LTR you aren't good at escaping, no marrying or cohabitating unless you really know what you're doing, and never letting anyone else, much less a romantic partner, take control of your life.

You are 100% in charge of you, no one else is. Nor should they be.

Follow MGTOW advice, or don't, take the good parts, leave the bad, do what you want.

Just remember, no matter what world you end up living in, you're there because it's what you wanted.

You don’t need to think about your relationship with women at this age. Focus on self development, discovering your philosophies and values. Once you have found peace and confidence within yourself, you won’t need people, especially women to fill in your needs

Find your path, your career and put all you have into it.

Seriously just focus exclusively on yourself and when you grow, others will be drawn to you.

If you don't want relationships with women that's fine, if you just want casual sex it's fine just make sure you're emotionally mature and confident in yourself that you don't NEED either of those, it's ok to want it but never need it.

Part of the point of MGTOW is to not make some broad general sweeping commitment to a woman that fucks up your own life. Making a broad general sweeping commitment against woman at the age of 16 is particularly troublesome. Generally if a 16 year old gets into MGTOW it is because they struggled with dating in highschool and are trying to take control of the issues by making it a choice.

A lot of MGTOWs don't consider you a '''real''' MGTOW until you have had some serious dating experience. Others call it gatekeeping, but the point is that you may be making your decision for the wrong reasons.

Before I go forward there are two things I want to point out: you can be alone without being lonely and lonely without being alone. The two are often tied together but that doesn't mean they have to be. The native americans had spirit totems meant to guide people that were born under their influence. IT was sort of like constellations but instead of just trying to tell you your future they essentially spelled out what your personal struggles in life would be and where you should try to end up.

Those born under the bobcat needed to learn how to be 'alone' without being lonely, because alone is something they are destined to be often, but it didn't mean that it had to be an experience of suffering. The point is, that this isn't some new concept, people dealing with feelings of loneliness whether alone or in a relationship. It is up to you to figure out your life and what will make it rich outside of people. That doesn't mean you'll need to be single all your life or just 'alone' all your life, but taking the time to explore what life is like when you're a loner prepares you to be happy no matter where you go.

The second thing I want to address is that romantic relationships aren't the only kind of company you can keep. Being with a woman can be a very lonely experience, as can having kids, because they all look to you to lead them and that means you're going to feel alone internally, alone in dealing with all the serious issues that life throws at you because it affects them too. What is worse is women tend to throw expectations at you that you don't want, which further isolates you because you can't talk to her about them, she expects you to just handle them for her benefit because that is your job.

There is a reason we have jokes about men running away to go to the bar so often. It isn't just to drink, they could do that in their garage, it is about being around other men you can wallow in your misery with. I can't get 3 months in to a relationship without feeling intensely lonely. I rarely feel lonely when I'm with friends. Friends work together for goals, whether its a project, or a camping trip, or just having a good time. Women expect you to take care of their goals, they expect you to stay on top of your projects, and they expect you to ensure that they are having a good time. It's not even their job to do any romantic gestures. But if the relationship is failing you can bet your ass that its your fault for not being romantic enough.

Point is that you can be alone without being lonely, and even when it comes to relationships women are pretty much the absolute bottom of the barrel when it comes to not being lonely, maybe second only to children.

Most MGTOWs do date or at least have sex or romantic flings however. It isn't about turning away from women entirely but rather redefining your own relationship, going your own way. Just don't cohabitate or get married. That is really the bare bones definition of MGTOW.

Everyone is different. We can't answer your question for you. I suggest developing good habits that will make you feel proud of yourself. Take up a hobby such as electric guitar. Lift weights. Sleep well. Ask yourself if what you are doing will benefit you in 10 years. Eat clean, but splurge from time to time as well. Learn some basic game and people skills. Get out there and practice them on everyday people. Read the red pill sidebar and use what works for you and discard what doesn't. Realistically now would be the time to father a child, in a lot of countries if you stay in school and live with support of parents you are a dependant till 21, possibly 25. You could be out of trade school with a good career path, kiddo would be in elementary school and your child support paid for those first few years would be manageable.

There's a lot of uncertainty in the future. No one can tell nor will they even be right if they answer with an absolute yes/no. All we know is that marriage is not the answer either given that half of them end up in a divorce and its probable based on that number that a higher percentage are unhappy but trying to work it out.

What I can tell you for sure is that you can be married or in a relationship and still feel lonely and bored. Worse, you can feel unfulfilled and resentful of any opportunities that you let go of because a spouse vetoed it or you decided to "compromise" on something you wanted. Its very possible to feel regret after marrying someone and you realize your life could have gone a different way.

As long as you build friendships, a good social structure, have interests and hobbies that excite you, you'll always be free to make any changes you want to, to move your life in any direction you want.

The key here is to realize that once you let go of a conventional lifestyle of marriage and settling down, you have an entire world of possibilities open to you - a potential early retirement, a lifetime spent traveling, move to another country, take up another job, take up social causes or volunteer work, pursue a new field of study, write that book you always dreamed of writing, create that video game you always wanted to.

The problem with relationships is not that women will hurt a man, it’s that at any time, for any reason or for no reason at all, any woman CAN hurt a man. And that hurt can be damaging, devastating, and long-lasting or even permanent.

Even a woman you’ve never met before can accuse you of sexual harassment and the men on the bus at the time could beat you to death. It has already happened in real life.

Your wife or girlfriend could accuse you of molesting her/your children, whom you love and would protect to your death, and the courts are more likely than not going to believe the wife/girlfriend, even if the children deny you did anything to them and show no injuries and no fear of you. It has happened.

And child molesters get a LOT of attention in prison. Unpleasant attention. With nowhere to run and nowhere to hide.

Or your wife or girlfriend could cut off your man-bits and feed them to the family dog, toss it into the garbage disposal and turn it on, or drive off and toss it out the car window. All three have happened, but not to the same guy.

A woman you have known since birth could call the police and accuse you of domestic battery. It has already happened; a man’s sister did that to him because he dared dispute her arguments in a discussion that had never gotten to the point of physical contact at all. Luckily the man’s mother backed his claims up and the sister was the one to whom the police gave their attention.

Again, not every woman WILL harm you, but every woman COULD.

MGTOW isn’t a cult with laws and by-laws; it’s more of a mindset that the best course of action may be to minimize your exposure to women so as to minimize the risk to life and limb.

It's hard for any of us to answer you when you don't explain what being a mgtow means to you. Some men here have had enough, some have never had anything(and elect that it remain so) and some decide to have on their terms.

I fit the latter category and the only thing I regret is that I didn't do that from the beginning. When I get even older I will probably have had enough and just relax wrt. relationships. Having relationships is an interesting part of life, but it is in my opinion a very small part of what life has to offer while taking up a disproportionate amount of space compared to its benefits. You will likely regret throwing something away if you don't also explore what else you can do in life to the fullest. Those who do that aren't busy regretting things, they are busy having a good time doing what they love.

MGTOW is an educational journey. It's not meant to restrict what you do. It's there to help you understand the true nature of women, male-female dynamics and the social constructions that aren't in the best interest of men. Self isolation is not a requirement. There is advice to avoid cohabitation and marriage but that is not an issue at your age. Your hormones and biology are compelling you to ingratiate yourself with women in order to procreate. Be aware that those impulses do not serve you, they serve your replication instinct. I find that holding the women in your life to the same standards that you do for the men (to respect you, be accountable for their own actions, be self sufficient, reciprocate good will, be honest, etc.) Is a great way to filter out the toxic people, man or woman, and generally make your life better. No need to deny yourself anything!

There are plenty of MGTOW that date women. You don't have to be lonely. Just don't get married, don't live with women, and live life on your own terms. Prioritize yourself.

We're human though, we all need contact, good friends, a support network, etc.... Build all of those things for yourself.

Have goals that cover the important aspects of life: personal, professional, physical, mental, financial (especially - you have to live and live well), emotional, spiritual.

Strive toward these goals and make improvements in yourself every day. If you do these things you will inevitably meet quality people in all of these areas and have a good cohort of people that you can trust and who trust you. You'll never be lonely.

But it all starts with you. Value yourself and others will too. Reserve the best for yourself, never compromise on what you want.

In the same way, today's decisions at age 16 aren't permanent (some are, by the way - wrap it up if you're going to have sex). If ten years from now, or twenty, or thirty, or even ten DAYS from now, you don't like the decision you made, just make a different one.

I wish I had been able to foresee the best possible path for me at 16, I would have been able to focus my time and energy on the ideal resources but realistically speaking there is no perfect path that works for everyone and learning what that looks like for you takes trying and experiencing different options for yourself. Loneliness is a relative thing as you can be pretty lonely while being married or surrounded by people but those answers can only truly come from your own experience. If you want advice, I recommend you worry now about living your life, pursuing the activities that interest you and let your love life develop on its own, just be cautious if you feel that you are getting into a bad situation learn to stop it and say no.
