Huh. for years society tells women that no matter what they do to a man, for even the flimsiest of excuses- or even just that it's "funny," they are completely justified.

Then women become increasingly more violent and abusive towards the men in their life.

I completely agree with everything this guy says. Sometimes his tone and language are a bit harsh, but you can tell he's passionate about what he says. His arguments are all valid and I think more people should see this!

Those weren't feminists they were just pieces of human shit, the two can overlap but don't necessarily equate.

Look, there are plenty of places on the web where a story of a guy beating his cheating wife or raping someone who had dressed revealingly would lead to applause. Those are shitty horrible fucked up places. Now if someone said that the people in there were MRA's, because MR's is really about being male centric you guys would be pissed.

It is appalling that this was done on Facebook where real names tend to be used and that no one felt any shame over using the stereotype that men can never be victims and women always are. Many parts of feminism reject that idea because if the concept of man=abuser and women=abused exists, then abusing a woman can be seen as a seen as a way of affirming masculinity. We do tend to assume that people who beat women are insecure and need to do it to remind themselves of their masculinity, if that association didn't exist we wouldn't have that problem. Unfortunately pop feminism didn't really get the memo on that one.

I'm listening to one of the smartest dudes in one of the dumbest countries rant about shit he saw on facebook. He breaks down american politics to Romney vs. Obama. Completely unaware of socio-economic stratification, he goes on to argue with dumb comments on facebook. Do I agree with him? Yes. Do I waste my time flipping out about shit that retards posted on facebook? No!

This video was a complete waste of time. The people who are dumb enough to make these silly facebook comments are beyond unreachable. Pick your battles buddy.

EDIT: My comment should have been something along the lines of, "Arguing with people in a publicly available and unmoderated forum like facebook is a waste of time. And I think the Mensrights movement would be better served by ignoring this sort of content."

I agree that they shouldn't have defended her automatically, but I really wish this anti-violence rethoric would stop. Acts of violence are utilitarian, they are neither inherently good nor inherently evil. It's the motive underlying them that makes them one or the other.
