The core of feminism is patriarchy theory and how women are oppressed by men. This misandrist falsehood is inherent to feminism. If someone calls themself a feminist but don't hold to those beliefs, they are just confused. But I guarantee you that the vast majority of feminists believe precisely that. Some may be more "moderate" in this misandrist belief than others, but even the most "moderate" of this falsehood needs to be called out. Your "strategy" of bypassing this inherent misandry isn't going to work because it won't achieve the desired goal, to destroy feminist misandrist myths.

But on top of that, how pathetic is it to qualify everything you're saying? It's feminists who back abusers like Amber Heard, and trying to qualify yourself every time you call it out just makes you look weak and pathetic and definitely will NOT help you in the long run.

The original definition of feminism is advocacy of women's rights to push for gender equality. Thus even the name emphasizes the female gender and it fights for women's rights. Over time it's seen as fighting for everyone's rights as claimed by them, but it still only emphasizes on women and the LGBTQ members. The only real issue of men they bring up is mental health and that too was first bring to light by MRAs if I'm not mistaken. Plus, their only solution for that is therapy like everyone can afford that. Besides that, no other issues faced by men are discussed like discrimination on society or in national laws. Even with it is widely known that there are plenty of male domestic abuse victims, there's little to no help from them, even male "feminists". The thing is, there are some good feminists, who cares for everyone and is ready to help them fight for their rights, even men. Unfortunately they are not the majority and don't make as much noise as the one at the top. Plus, there is so much internalised misandry amongst feminists. Go to pretty much any feminist page on social media and you will find abundance posts primarily talking about issues faced by WOMEN, regardless if men face them too. Like domestic violence, rape, sexual harrasment etc. And when you try to bring up in the comment section, you are immediately shut down without even considering it because in modern feminism, it's pretty much conveying the message that men are never oppressed. Then when you begin or join MRA to fight against domestic violence against male, rape and sexual harrasment against male, once again you are shut down without considering. The moment you talk about men's issues you are without a doubt, a misogynist and women beater. Just like the ex feminist who made the movie (red pill if I'm not wrong) about MRA and male issues, there were many protests to ban it and a university even decided not to air it in their campus because it's apparently harming the safety of women. Like for them, when you support a man, you are the enemy of women, regardless if he's right or it is an important issue. Even the latest happenings like the Depp vs Heard, most of the feminists if not all, believed Amber Heard despite the number of clear evidences placed against her. When Johnny Depp won, not a single feminists group in real life or in social media that I know of, talked about it. Because their fight isn't really against domestic violence, its only against domestic violence when a man is the abuser. Cos let's not forget they never brought light to domestic violence amongst same sex couples, where both abuser and victim are women. Then the Roe vs Wade, it was made a men vs women case despite plenty men supporting pro choice and plenty of women supporting pro life. This all proves it's just wired in their brain that women are always victims and men are always the enemy. In short, a lot feminists don't hate men and are not misandrists, but when they join those groups, most of them very quickly turn into those very things they despise(sexists).

Ps: I do have to point out, despite no feminist groups talking about the victory of a male domestic violence victim's victory, i do know some women who are feminists (but unlike the ones you see at the rallies) did celebrate it as a step forward for all domestic violence victims.

The foundational principles of all flavours of feminism (class warfare between men and women with men winning, shorthanded as "Patriarchy") are inherrently anti-male when you examine what needs to be true for it to accurately describe reality. Feminists can claim that it's "just about equality", but it's equality based on bigotted assumptions, presuming psychopathy on the part of men as a class. Women won't listen to other points of view that challenge their own until an event forces it into their awareness.

I think the only thing men can do is withdraw under attack and let women find out for themselves that they have cut off their nose to spite their face. Only women can discover this for themselves through consequences and repercussions, because they won't listen to reason.

Well then I can tell you that you're wrong. From experience. You have suggested a bad strategy. Wrt feminism MRA are the underdogs who can't compete to their rules. We have to bring them down with asymmetric warfare and that means ceaselessly attacking them until people figure out feminists are just awful. Are you too scared to do that because you think you might get a bad rep doing it?

Feminists own the media (or their elite sponsors do rather). MRAs have no power to put out a positive message as you (and other naive people) suggest. The only way most people hear about MRA is through the lens of feminism so it doesn't matter how good an argument you can put up if nobody can hear it. But if you attack feminism on moral grounds they can't help replying to defend themselves and show their ass even worse. And that message can and does get out because feminists push it out -- stupidly. It's a jujitsu move - using the strength of your enemy against them.

I mean sure you can pretend you're not getting personal if it's a framing question but that's really not that helpful. In the end it just doesn't matter that much what people think of you. It just doesn't matter that much if people think MRA are "incels" or rapists or whatever feminists say. Our reputation doesn't matter because MRAs have no power, never will get any power, and will never get a fair hearing. The only thing we can do well is cause feminists to show their ass by provoking them to over-react to criticism and in the process show everyone who they really are.

ETA: There's a second pragmatic problem with your "be nice" approach. And that is the audience of troubled and suffering young men out there. Right now and increasingly they are seeing how much feminism has fucked them. And they blame women for that. And why wouldn't they since feminism says it represents all women. As people who want equality we need to get to these young men and convince them that women as a group, despite how they benefit from feminism, are not all haters. If we take some half-arsed path as you suggest then they will turn away in disgust and contempt from us and write us off as White Knights. And they'd be right to frankly.

Taking your path would allow these frustrated young men to become captured by any demagogue on YouTube that pretends to understand their pain. Did you know most young men in South Korea oppose feminism now? That number is reflected in many Western countries too or it's getting closer to it.

To me is not about the people that call themselves feminist, is about feminism itself as an entity, as a political force, as a narrative, as a culture.

The individuals are irrelevant. The problem is not a individual feminist at the top being misandristic, the problem is that the rest whole of feminism does literally nothing whatsoever in the slightest about it, they dont call them out at all.

Feminism as a whole as an entity has no self-moderation system in place, tahts why i oppose your idea, in my opinion feminism must be taken down for men issues to ever become relevant.

You don’t realize we live in a fourth wave feminist society. Fourth wave feminism isn’t about equality any more, it may say it is. But feminism has never attacked mens issues. They even have played a large part in demonizing and hiding it.

And just look at every these three laws feminism helped pass. Show me the equality. - Right to vote without selective service, giving women the privilege of not signing their life away to the army at 18 which men have to do. - Banning the genital mutilation of only female children.

Creating the idea that men are not needed in a child’s life creating several biased laws that give women a legal edge in child support, custody, and even naming random men as fathers without even checking paternity. Which in most cases if not all can not be abolished with a paternity test.

So I ask. Where is the equality in what feminism has done?

Misandry and Feminism are synonomous, its roots extending as far back as the early preliminary waves in the late 1800s.

Refer to The Declaration of Sentiments at Senecca Falls. Where part of the speech asks that men be named the obstacle to emancipation.

None of this was challenged by the attendees nor the organizers.

What does this tell you except there's either a blindspot to such misandric assumptions or it's all intentional?

Either way, this undercurrent has prospered into the empathy gap we're witnessing today.

I'll paraphrase something a woman told me. The concept of privilege is there so you don't have to care. Helping men is unnecessary because they're privileged. Feminism is misandry.
