Okay, but there's an undercurrent of misogyny and gendered hatred in his manifesto and speech that goes along with some opinions I have experienced from MRAs.

As for the quote (first, it's actually Andrea Dworkin's quote, she was a feminist critic of porn...which I personally don't completely agree with), my interpretation is a bit different than what you imply you got from it. She's not saying that men should be abolished, she's saying submissive femininity and dominating masculinity as they define each other under the current system feed off each other in a toxic spiral. To escape that spiral of shittiness, one must abolish all existing concepts of manliness and womanliness in order to live in a state of equity. Basically, she wants to abolish genders and gender norms, not abolish men. The only problem I would have with Warren Farrell saying that (inverted version of the quote) is that men killing women is far more common than the other way around... this comes out as a threat, because the male group has more societal power at this point in time.

Case in point: Birth control:

1) Why is there no effective drug available on the US market that acts as male birth control, that males take (coming soon to AUS/NZ, but not talked about in the US) ? This is something I've argued (as a feminist) should be available and covered in the same capacity by government as the female pill. Males and females should have the same ability to exercise control over their reproduction, as well as the associated responsibility. Right now, the most effective method a man can use is a condom, and we all know that accidents can happen. So I'm all for a male pill. Which helps men AND women gain equity.

2) If health insurance covers Viagra/Cialis/etc (which are most often used for the enhancement of sex for males), it should also cover female performance enhancers such as Ospemifene. To the best of my knowledge, it is not covered.

Two arguments that are feminist that lots of feminists believe.

No. They demonize all men as a class for what a few men have done to them, and then get annoyed when a man tells them to stop blaming all men -because it's a lack of respect, and a very stupid thing to do-.

Who the hell do those women think they are?. A sort of deity that can't be questioned?...

Fuck off. They better get used to it, because that's exactly what every honest and decent man must do. Tell them to stop bitching about all men, and demand some respect. Enough is enough.

Thanks for getting back to me. I searched up the thread because what I presume was a feminist on youtube responded to me with #notallmen as well as some other derogatory hashtags. As I avoid twitter like the plague (because it is) I had no clue what she meant and all the internet searches and examples in context did not really give me any help.

I agree with your point, it just bothers me because I live close to an area considered to be a bastion of feminism, they have complained, a lot (really a lot, especially when you date them), to me about men and after a long time one starts to lose track of the that they mean 'some men' and sometimes I do have to split hairs when there are feminists who say, yes, all men are rapists. I need to know how far down the rabbit hole the person I am talking to is. And I personally believe that when people use the more general term synonymous with the finer one it builds synapses between the neurons of the ideas, linking more permanently two ideas, such as man and rapist. But I do understand encountering it all the time would be annoying, and it is not a particularly valid deflection if used as such. Usually when I hear 'Not all women are like that' I interpret it as, 'Not all women are like that, but enough that I really can't debunk your point, so carry on'
