You are correct, it’s way more than rape.

I’ll describe the “procedure” for you, and you’ll tell me how it would be classified by a lawyer if done in any other context than a surgical room.

You are restrained and strapped to a board against your will;
You are sexually aroused for the procedure to be performed more easily;
A sharp probe is used to penetrate your sexual organ and break down the membrane that fuses your prepuce to your glans (that membrane is called the hymen in girls);
You are violently mutilated by cutting into your flesh, without sufficient (or any) anesthesia, which amounts to torture;
Finally an entire organ is severed from your body, with the same amount of force and violence.

And obviously all of the above is done without your consent, and will forever deprive you of the most precious gift of life, which is sexual pleasure and intimacy (at least a good part of it, and sometimes all of it). Oh and sometimes, you die from the hemorrhage or subsequent infections.

So let’s review: we have 1) physical assault; 2; sexual assault; 3) penetrative rape; 4) aggravated battery; and 5) premeditated mutilation.

Not bad, right?

Or since you’re likely also too stupid for analogy: the foreskin contains all 5 of the most erogenous sexual tissue structures in the male anatomy (ridged band, frenulum, frenular delta, inner mucosa, and a non-keratinized glans), which also serve functions. The most sensitive area on circumcised penis (typically the underside remnant where the frenulum was excised) has none of those fine touch receptor areas (which fyi, doesn’t mean you “last longer”). Meaning, your penis skin was flayed off and the nerve clusters were cut off and when they healed a) don’t allow you to control your orgasm threshold, and b) are only capable of more easily transmitting pain because the pleasure nerve pathways were irreparably damaged after amputation.

Did you know skin everywhere on the body serves a function? It protects your internal organs and have nerve endings to feel with. Don’t believe me? Cut off your eyelids for hygiene, women prefer it.

This shows a basic misunderstanding of the nature of language and how definitions evolve especially with regard to legal matters like rape. Rape was commonly defined such that forcing your wife to have sex was not rape. The core trend over time since Biblical times has been:

Property / male ownership
Honor / chastity
Violent force against a woman
Violation of personal autonomy and consent

Your argument is based on exactly the same principle of definitions being carved in stone that the feminists you refer to rely on. What exactly do you find abusive about the Rome Statute's legal definition of rape? Legal definitions are not pendantic and I am clearly very far from being categorically wrong! Unfortunately the false framing of this rite is very pervasive and extends to even those in the genuine fight against it. To be successful the fight against the rite starts with getting the truth out, especially to those on the same side of the issue.

What exactly do you mean by sex when you write forced sex? You write sex act, what defines sexual activity? There was a case recently here of a foreman who forced a broom shaft into the rectum of a newly employed apprentice, is that a sexual act and rape, according to you? I might add that the charge and conviction was for rape.

Note I did not claim all genital mutilation is rape, only what boys invariably are put through.

@ExploreInternal6960 - You're effectively saying that it's neither rape nor mutilation. I won't debate the definition of rape, but I would like to provide you with the definition of mutilation. Merriam Webster defines mutilation as 1: an act or instance of destroying, removing or severely damaging a limb or any other body part of a person or animal, or 2: an act or instance of damaging or altering something radically. So, given that the prepuce (i.e. body part) is amputated (i.e. removed), thus causing permanent sexual crippling (i.e. severely damaging a body part) as well as reducing sensitivity and penile skin mobility (i.e. damaging or altering something radically), it sits well within the standard definition of the word. Other dictionaries provide similar definitions. It's good that we can all have opinions, thank goodness for free speech! However, they carry more weight and are more persuasive when based on fact.

Medicine is about helping patients who are 1) in need of a treatment and 2) consent to said treatment. While practiced by doctors, routine infant circumcision is NOT medicine as it’s about brutally amputating healthy tissue without consent. That is the opposite of medicine, and yes, it’s torture and mutilation.

Also here’s the definition of rape (Merriam-Webster): “unlawful sexual activity […] carried out forcibly […] against a person's will or with a person who is beneath a certain age or incapable of valid consent […]”

I’m sorry but when a newborn is sexually aroused and penetrated by force, it is the textbook definition of rape. It doesn’t matter that the perpetrator is wearing a white coat. Actually, no, being a doctor makes it worse as they are violating their Hippocratic oath, on top of the criminal charges they would endure if circumcision wasn’t cloaked by cultural dogma.

You’re welcome to live in la-la land, where you believe everything doctors claim and that mainstream media keep parroting. The rest of us live in the real world, where we care about child abuse, which includes male genital mutilations, aka non-consensual circumcision.

Want more proof?

Here’s a recent quote from Andrew Freedman, MD, one of the lead pediatric urologist on the AAP task force who issued the last policy statement on male circumcision in 2012 (expired in 2017 and conveniently not renewed): “maybe the AAP should get out of the [circumcision] business.”

Others from that AAP task force, such as Douglas Diekema (lead bioethicist), had a similar change of heart, starting that “the health benefits don’t outweigh the risks” (contrary to their 2012 position). In other words, it’s not medically justifiable, making parental consent void.

The doctors themselves are backpedaling their cruel nonsense. Quite striking isn’t?

Agreed! For way too long men have been brainwashed into believing that having mutilated genitals is good, it's a subject we shouldn't talk about, and to 'toughen up.' And precisely because historically it hasn't been an acceptable subject to discuss openly, the abhorrent practice continues unabated. It's not that easy to 'move on,' or 'get over it,' because we have to look at the mutilation and deal with it every single day, every single time we go to the toilet, take a shower or change our clothes. We have to deal with the reduced and damaged functionality every single time we attempt anything sexual. Well now we've started talking about it, and we're never going to stop talking about it and reminding those who requested it, allowed it, PAID for it to be done and those who did the cutting itself that together they made a fucking stupid decision resulting in a permanent, irreversible fuckup on someone else's body.
