Be careful about #1 and check local law. Some US states are strict two party consent states and others are not or depend on the location.

Shut Up, Now. There is a particular line in the Miranda Warning. It is "anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law". In the US, this is taken very seriously. If the cops ever question you, say nothing without your lawyer present, or you risk incriminating yourself. This brings us to the next point.

In UK it's a different matter. My grasp of this subject is tenuous at best, but from what I understand if you remain silent to questions from police they can later use that against you in court.

HIRE a lawyer yourself. Do not just go with a court appointed one. This is a matter of several years in prison. You should be ready to pony up several grand for a damn good lawyer with experience in dealing with rape cases.

This is definitely helpful but don't think this will defend you. If the girl is smart enough to keep her story straight and doesn't admit she is lying to anyone (say for fear of being tapped) you are likely going to jail. All she has to say is mid sex she got scarred and withdrew her consent. She says she "made this clear with her body language" and you kept going. There is no defense against this.

Sure. It is a bit of throwing the baby out with the bathwater, but none have provided any evidence that they're worth the risk or offered any effort to mitigate that risk.

One little piece of advice. Most phones fit into shirt pockets quite easily, so when you record, the mic is much closer to you and others.

And test out the battery and memory capabilities of your phone while recording before hand.

A word of caution on number 1 in the US. Some states do not allow recording of others without their permission. Even if it proves you are innocent, it may be in-admissible in court and, in fact, get you into legal trouble. Be aware of your local laws.

This. Any time you're about to do something important that you have no experience in, it's a wise idea to do so under the guidance of an expert. A lawyer is just that - an expert in legal matters. Don't say anything other than "no thanks, I don't really drink coffee" until you have a lawyer in the room.

She can say you raped her ten years ago, and then you have to prove that you didn't or go to prison.
