It's not just misinformation, it's textbook character assassination/slander. This is a very common tactic by feminists and women who seek to vilify men, and gain social support through false helplessness. She knows there would be nothing fear from men's rights activists, but wrongfully acting as though they are dangerous or as if her safety was threatened in any way, immediately paints them as something to be removed. Her being a woman, and therefore socially privileged as a protected class, gives her a great deal of power in that regard(which she is abusing). "he makes me feel unsafe" has been overused and abused as a means of acting on pre-existing social prejudices by countless women for a very long time now. This isn't any different. There was a time when "they makes me feel unsafe" was the goto excuse and rationalization for a great deal of racism in America.

Grow up. You are an adult woman, not a child. If the thought of someone forming a group that doesn't specifically cater to you or agree with you makes you nervous, the burden of fixing that doesn't lie on others to make you feel 100% welcome, but on yourself. If a man said he was intimidated by having a women's group on campus you feminists would be chortling about fragile masculinity for days.

EDIT: This entire thing is essentially an attempt to invoke "I don't feel safe with that big scary man over there" where women constantly harp on how afraid and fragile and completely unable to handle themselves they are and about how other people need to take responsibility for their physical and mental wellbeing. This is a surprisingly regressive tactic that has been pulled repeatedly by feminists and it WORKS because we care so much about ensuring that women are taken care of and protected, even sometimes from the consequences of their own actions. It's the biggest spit in the face of gender equality I can imagine.

That's such a disingenuous argument; it's not about being against women, it's about the fact that men are facing gap and disparities. Wouldn't it be fair to say that the goals of feminism are to address areas where women are behind (thus men doing "better")? It's completely hypocritical.

She's not directly affected by men's issues, and clearly not educated about them. It's not for her to "decide" that an MRA group is 'scary', there's nothing scary about pointing out statistically and legal realities.

I'm glad to see people have already called this moron out for what she is but I still have to post this. Really? She's 'anxious' about the idea of a men's rights group being on campus? No, she's a feminist and she's anxious about competition, she simply doesn't want them on campus because MRAs who can stand up for themselves might actually peel away a significant number of students and potential recruits for their cause.

I've said this constantly, from what I've observed for the past 4 or so years now of the feminist movement. MRAs and gamers are the only real direct threat that the feminist lobby has ever faced which is why they make up all this bullshit about being frightened of them and they try to defame them in order to scare away young women in particular from talking to them.

I would love to see MRAs have more presence on university campuses, but they are going to have some serious balls and maybe come with security because feminists will get violent over them being there as universities are their recruitment centres and main bases of operations.

If any MRAs do have plans to go on campus, be very very careful and film every interaction in public, someone will likely try to assault you at some point and have a trustworthy lawyer on speed dial.

Oh yeah, this, i watched this, you had someone i could only describe as a shill,a feminist, then someone who happens to be a rational human being, he wasn't like super pro, or MRA or anything, he was merely reasonable, and for doing such a heinous thing, he was treated very badly.

MRA has become synomous with things like 'male supremacy' and 'white supremacy' and 'nazi's' because those are the lies that get told, theres not a shred of evidence for it, but its said so much, everyone just believes it.

Why are MRA's scary but feminists are not? Because they say so, thats it. Feminism has become actively hostile to almost all men(notice i say feminism not feminists, as some are actually not idiots). This only continues each day, with only small bits of progress being made, but especially when people learn a little more.
