I work in big pharma, account director.

My company has gone 100mph down the DEI rabbit hole over the last 3 years. Since 2020 we've moved from 50/50 male to female employees, to 65/35 female.

80% of new jobs have gone to women. Nothing structurally has changed. Some departments are now 100% female.

Last week this data was published internally, on a conference call with the whole company our country manager gave an overview of DEI but she totally passed over this data, so I referenced it in the chat.

"I asked what action should be implemented to correct this bias as it has an impact for all male employees and prospective male employees"?

I received about a dozen DMs from men saying "thank f*ck someone has spoke up" but I was kinda pissed with the others for staying silent.

However, over the last week I've had loads of snarky comments from female staff, some saying"oh that wasn't the right platform to say that" and "but men have had it all their own way for years" I even received a message from a female colleague saying "you should delete that post"

The workplace has totally flipped into matriarch and misandry, I complained to head of HR about all the dreadful comments at me (she's female) who simply said "we don't always get things right"

That was it, she completely ignored my complaint and said nothing about the lack of gender parity.

The other thing, for the first time in our company history in the UK, we missed target, anyone in business knows what this inevitably means. 😳
