I don’t understand why sexual assault cannot be gender-inclusive these days, why is it still seen as a women’s problem?

For the most part, we don’t look at robbery, as gendered. We generally treat these as crimes that have a victim and perpetrator regardless of sex.

Domestic violence (and sexual assault) has become gendered because feminists have made it so. Getting people to falsely believe men initiate domestic violence and men are almost never victims helps the feminist cause in many ways including:

Police more likely to arrest the man

Funding going almost exclusively to shelters for women that refuse to help male victims.

It supports their men oppress women propaganda.

They have successfully gotten colleges to handle sexual assay allegations in ways that deny accused males due process.

In other counties, Isn’t it by definition not counted as rape if a woman does it? It’s only identified when a man violates or penetrate a woman, not identified the other way around, plus I guess it’s hard to identify male rape(unless it’s by a another male)…even when a dude legit says If he’s raped, which is unlikely for a dude to say anything.

I think this is a big factor why SA and rape are gendered, its because other laws made it into a gendered thing, and feminist usually ignore or gaslight you if you talk about male victims with the “by other men” bs counter, which also ignores the fact that women can r*pe men, and downplays male rape as a type of problem that no one should really care about if other men are doing it to each other.

Honestly, I don't care if a disproportionate number of one gender has a problem over the other. If it's possible for both (all) genders to perpetrate, or be a victim of a crime, said crime should not be gendered at all. Anyone can experience sexual assault, rape, abuse, etc. I can't think of ANY law that should be gender exclusive. Same with consequences for breaking said laws.

Why?

(1) feminists want to demonize men so they block anything that would suggest men can be victims too, including falsifying data and attacking researchers.

(2) feminists have the power to do this because they are backed by the imperial government / the 1% who (correctly) see feminism as a cancer on the Left and a great way to divide working class people against one another.

The answer is because feminism has spent decades constructing a narrative of women being victims and men being the aggressors

To admit that men can be victims of sexual assault or domestic violence threatens to erode the narrative they've been crafting.

Not only that but the systems in place are in place specifically to recognize / acknowledge woman victims of DV / SA and erase male victims from coming forward.
This has the effect of skewering the numbers to make it look like DV and SA are crimes that disproportionately affect women.

Acknowledging that men can be victims of this crime would mean treating men equally which seems to be the antithesis of Feminism in the modern day..

Feminists made a political decision in the 1980s to focus on 'violence against women' to get traditional conservatives on board. They gained a lot of political influence and can't abandon their position without losing that power.

Tied to that is issues of funding. A lot of feminist domestic and sexual violence organisations are worried about losing their funding, if male victims services are included as funding recipients.

It has nothing to do with gender it's to do with sex.

Women have the risk of pregnancy and are weaker and therefore less able to defend themselves. Women are also most likely to be assaulted when they are young, early teens so child safeguarding normally comes in. Because female assault normally ticks so many boxes, including the high number of them it's given an overall priority.

Following from that it is a human issue. Men are sexually assaulted to a lesser degree but it still happens at all ages also

What statisticians find interesting, is why one group is affected more than the other. For example, the null hypothesis is that sexual assault is equal amongst both men and women. However, the data shows this is untrue, therefore we reject our null hypothesis and accept the alternative hypothesis that women are more likely to be sexually assaulted than men. Then, the issue arises, why? Does age play a factor? How about race? Etc.

I wouldn't say it's gendered, but men typically don't ever get sexually assaulted. They don't have to worry about walking to their care at night, or getting grabbed at a bar. They don't have to worry about work-place sexual harrassment. (Like being touched by your boss and threatened with being fired if you said anything) On the other hand this is a constant thing in women's minds. And the very low percentage of men that DO get sexually assaulted aren't men. Their children, and they were more than likely adsaulted by another man. So your right, it isn't a womens problem its a mens problem. It all stems from you guys and since over 90 of victims are women why wouldn't it be a movement centered on women??

Feminists had a ton of good research about the psychological damaging effects from the trauma of Female Genital Mutilation, and not once during any part of the process of getting it banned do they think "hmm, maybe this hurts boys the same way?"

And everyone else just goes along with it.

Imagine that.

Strapping babies down and mutilating them sexually, without anesthesia (babies "couldn't feel pain" until the 70's, and even then it took till 2000's for anesthesia to be considered common), and then those boys having to piss all over the wound for weeks while their mothers blamed them for being "fussy"

To feminists, and most women imo, it's about power. They consider their word on SA to be power, and they want more.

Making it fair and equal, or even considering men victims, gives them less power, and is therefore bad. Now it's more difficult for them to accuse, but also more risky for them to assault men, as there are potential consequences.

It's far more malicious, sickening, and endemic than your post implies.
