Raise a stink about it to the right people! Tell a principal or dean what happened, and let them know you felt attacked on the basis of your gender and hurt by those unfair actions. Mention the fact that gender is a protected class (or "ask about" whether that includes boys. FYI it does).

Depending on where you live, this is (theoretically) a fireable offense. Your teacher will probably only get a slap on the wrist, but stuff like that can add up. If she accrues too many black marks on her record, they'll consider letting her go.

At the very least, she might think twice next time about whether or not to encourage flagrant sexism in the classroom.

Do any of you actually let your kids attend public schools? My wife and I have agreed that if its not private school we are homeschooling but never, and i mean absolutely never, will we allow them to get indoctrinated in a public school.

Tell the principal. I'm a teacher, that's gross misconduct. Tell them you want to know what the consequences are for that teacher and if they don't act, you can contact your local authority and make an official complaint.

yup was a regular occurrence when i was a student, best part was when we were in the last year of school there is a big exam and all teachers were taking some or the other girls names as to who will be the first in school but there was a boy who finally got the first rank lol
