The problem with your thought is the theoretical you only get to be a man on their terms. Their terms include earning for them and serving them, really no better than a slave, or as what put in the article, a stud. So they take care of you sexually, and you take care of them financially.

How easy is it to slip from your "alpha" position when they get tired of you? If you are not the one controlling your social status and life, if they are defined by someone else, then you don't have any control or agency over the course of that status.

So yes, under your fictional scenario, you may have it great at the top. To answer your questions specifically:

If a slave is his master's favorite house slave, and treated like royalty, should that slave not be concerned with slavery? What happens if there's a new favorite, or this slave loses whatever it is that was valued by the master?

This argument only holds if one defines feminism as that which allows women to explore their sexuality. I would argue that is a result of birth control rather than anything else. Let's see how much feminism helps him out when he gets a girl pregnant, or gets a divorce and barely gets to see his kids.

The term feminism is very ill defined. I think purposely so. I have found that if you think women and men should have the same rights you are called a feminist. If you think women and men should have the same rights and responsibilities you are called an MRA.

The more men commit suicide, become homeless etc, the better for me as a man without these problems. There is also an element of 'I told you so' that makes me feel good when bad things happen to other people that I told them would happen. But as someone with empathy men commiting suicide bothers me. And as someone with fear I know it could have and could still be me.

Warning, the following post is conjecture based on the posters own experiences!

I'm not going to lie, I'm probably pretty fuckin' alpha. I'm in the military, as an infantryman, I shoot guns and slap my other alpha dudes in the ass after a hard day walking around in body armor. My ego is so big that I could just think about myself if I ever had erectile dysfunction for a quick and simple cure. Women like me, especially now that I'm married, and tall, and skinny, and I'm hella charismatic.

THE PROBLEM: Crazy bitches.

I've had one too many problem with crazy chicks trying to fuck me over in various ways because they're so madly upset that they're just not good enough for me. Feminism is often used as a justification for trying to ruin my (unruinable) reputation. Being alpha doesn't make you immune to the feminist bullshit, it makes you a target. I'm sure in some ways I'm an exception to a lot of the problems here, for example, if I hit on a chick I make her god-damned day, they're not going to say "sexual harassment" when I'm harassing them, because they're usually just happy that I'm talking to them. That's a plus, but at the same time if they're very invested in me the crazies will definitely try to force me into loving them.

Also, I feel for all men, not just the ones who tell people they have a tiny penis and not give a shit. Some guy getting dicked over somehow because he's a dude? I'm bothered. Someone else having their children and their money robbed from them? I'm hot. I'm not so immensely selfish that I can't care about the plights of others.

Suppose I am what would be commonly labeled a woman. As far as I'm concerned, feminism has only been making my life easier by providing me with loads of unequal benefits.

So should men like me join the fight against feminism if it's actually making it easier for us?

Feminism seems to be accelerating the distinction between men and seperating them into various positions withing a hierarchy, ala An Unsuited Analogy - women, men who agree with feminists, men who don't agree with feminists, etc. Yet, if I'm already at the top, should I worry?

My problem with this is, if other "alpha" males are anything like me, i also had no problem with the finding partners department however that is precisely the thing that trapped me when a random temporary partner decided to switch off birth control to get pregnant without my consent. I know plenty of guys personally in a very similar situation, some of which are "alpha" males but plenty are not, either way it would seem to lead to this result in the end for many so i wouldn't go so far as to say it actually benefits anyone.

I guess it is fine being the Alpha dog until one of them decides to accuse you of rape. They can "prove" this by bringing your ex lovers and having them testify that you use your charm to get these women into bed. If that idea ever actually came to pass you'd probably see a bloodbath and the complete extermination of the "alpha class" . Think about it : They're basing their choice for a mate on looks alone . So what are the smart people , the strong people , those with unfulfilled potential going to do ? They're going to get fed up with that game pretty quickly .

Most people simply don't feel they know what life is about so they just sorta settle on it being about family . If society simply decided that %90 of the men weren't allowed to have a family , what would those men eventually do ? What happens every time a huge number of disenfranchised , hopeless , bored , and angry men decide that they don't like the way things are ? They rampage . They go apeshit and start tearing the place down until they get what they want . They'll target the people who , naturally , are benefiting from the current system and wipe them out . Then they'll simply choose whichever women they want and take them by force .

This , basically is exactly what would happen eventually by creating a massive underclass of young males with nothing but energy and desire . To say that this would backfire on feminists would be an understatement because eventually those same guys would also realize that it was in the over-valuation of women by society that their problems were created in the first place . They'd make sure it never happened again .

So basically , yes , you'd live a good life for a while as an alpha male . It wouldn't last long though and things would end badly for you and every woman you know .

Indeed what you say is right. All socialist ideologies, including feminism, reward rich attractive people heavily as they can play the system. That is what many communists hope for, that they can be the super sexy alpha revolutionary at the top who has all the women while the workers toil to provide for them.

Unfortunately, one of the consequences of feminism being a crazy irrational supremicist ideology is that the culture we are embedded in is ruined. Crime gets a lot worse because of all the single mommas raising criminals, women get much less attractive due to entitlement, women get fatter because they can get their kicks from sexiness even if fat.

There is a reasonable chance that the alpha will face some terrible scenario and have his life ruined.

To start with - I do not see 'feminism' as an uniform and continuous movement. The people calling themselves feminists have been fighting for different things (sometimes opposing themselves) so using 'feminism' as an umbrella including the fringe movements is not productive.

I would consider that due to the work of the suffragettes and early feminists (the fight for equal rights, right to vote, property ownership, access to education) life for men changed for the better.

The sexual liberation you speak of an interesting outcome of the second wave feminism but before you go ahead and praise feminism for 'easy access' you might want to consider the part of the movement which posits that men are redundant and/or treats all heterosexual sex as rape.

The current state of affairs seems to put men at a disadvantage in some jurisdictions and there is a tendency for the imbalance to widen (child custody, reproductive rights, some DV enforcement, access to education etc.).

Additionally, 'players' always had their share, for example Giacomo Casanova, and 'feminism' was not a factor.
