Eh. I wouldn't say that. All socieities have gynocentric tendencies due to primal instincts to protect women. But often there are forces pulling in the opposite direction, typically by religious trad cons. The latter forces start out strong but drastically weaken as a country industrializes, but the former strengthen, leading to the pendulum swinging to the other side rather than equalizing gender relations.

I have no qualms stating that Saudi Arabia is not gynocentric at all and in fact is a proper example of patriarchy. What needs to be contested by MRAs are two related ideas:

That modernized and industrialized countries are patriarchies, and
That every society that isn't as gynocentric as the west is as patriarchal as Saudi Arabia when in fact there are countries where both genderd are treated badly (India).

There was a very small movement about child sexual abuse against boys that happens in Hollywood. The primary success was the destruction of Kevin Spacey's career, including several court victories against him. Corey Feldman has been a huge spokemans for the movement for decades. Describing numerous acts of molestation he suffered during his teenage years in Hollywood. Though his campaign is largely ignored and unknown. Hes one of the primaries for the charges against Michael Jackson for his sexual abuse against minors. He often speaks about his childhood friend and co-star Corey Haim, who ended up with extreme trauma from the abuse and its widely seen as the reason Corey Haim fell so hard into drug addiction.

This was almost entirely ignored by the media during the #MeToo movement though it was recognized in a few places. Its also completely fallen off the radar, again, and is largely forgotten still in social media. Thus why I guess you've never heard of it.

I have been a MGTOW for years. It is a step but not enough. First, it is a mistake that it has a name, even an abbreviation. It will be erased just because of that. Look what they did to the MGTOW subreddits or the mgtow.com website (used to be functional with rich content).

Second, they will still tax you and give your money to feminist organizations and for women's benefits in general. Nothing you can do about it. If you have a job, you still likely have to interact with women at work, including the possibility that they will harass you and if you try to reject them, they might lodge a false allegation to destroy you, Again, what can you do about it? My impression is that avoiding personal interactions with a few women in your private life helps, reduces risks and losses, but does not amount to complete protection and freedom. Unless you disappear in a jungle, off the grid and all that, but that's extreme that few can do.

Just my sad thoughts. MGTOW is good but amounts only to that much, sadly.
