Also, why hasn't the Julian Assange false allegations case been given more notice? Julian said all along that the allegations and order for extradition was a ruse to send him not to Sweden but to the USA.

Julian Assange was right and it turns out that false sex offence allegations were used in particular, as the offences then get publicly known and are provided with elevated status.

Meanwhile feminists are saying that men are exaggerating the impact of false rape allegations.

You aren't doing yourself any favours by comparing the traumas of each situation. It doesn't help in any way and it's completely subjective.

What I would point out, is that the original claim that more men are raped than falsely accused comes from a wildly unprofessional and inaccurate Channel 4 broadcast in the UK.

How they arrived at their conclusion was by comparing convictions for false accusations against men with survey data for the number of men who were raped.

This is an apples to oranges comparison. You cannot compare court data with survey data because they are measuring two completely different things. If they used surveys to measure the number of men who are falsely accused, the number would be a lot higher.

It's just another example of feminists being extremely disingenuous with statistics. They know that most people will take it as fact and not bother to examine their data. They are lying in order to downplay false accusations and harm the men who fall victim to them.

Dude, 40% of all rape accusations were proven false, and the FBI speculated that most likely a significant portion was also false accusations that were not investigated later. The FBI also published data showing that women are the most likely demographic to be a rapist. Take from that what you will.

There is no knowledge of those who are raped and don't report it and those who falsely accused but haven't been found. The statistic of how many are raped or falsely accused can never be made. "More Men are Raped than Falsely Accused" can not be argued unless delusion is present.

a friend of mine in middle school got his aunt pregnant when he was only about 13 and she was in her late 30s. after the rumors spread, they moved out of town and I've never seen him to this day. he told me that his aunt came into his room almost every night to have sexual intercourse with him. he was an orphan and lived with his aunt and her husband since childhood. now looking back as an adult, it makes me so mad just thinking about it.

As others said it's a way to derail the conversation. It's a common tactic when your "argument" is based more on emotion than logical inferences.

The same thing is said when you point out men are much more likely to be the victim of a violent crime (aside from rape/sexual assault).

The typical retort you hear is "Well that is by other men though" which is a common belittlement tactic.

Now we aren't talking about male victims we are talking about male aggressors with the added benefit of implying men who were victims to other men aren't "real" victims compared to women abused by the opposite sex.

It's really disgusting and reprehensible shit but that is exactly what you get when your argument hinges on emotion and "feelings" rather than evidence and truth.

my thoughts: your statement has raised a lot of questions, and this topic should be talked about in the world, in most legal cases, I would assume that most male victims are not taken seriously, due to social expectations, the issue is in many cases is the jury may be "driven by political ideology" rather than observing the facts of the case, I am not stating that this is always the outcome. However, I can safely assume this is the outcome due to how unique these cases are.

my opinion: it is sad to see that our society lacks to speak up on these issues, the united states is a country of opportunity. I must say that why are the majority of these issues found in the united states? I believe it says a lot about this country
