When I think about the Pike River Mine disaster in New Zealand, and all of the men that died, and the public outcry over the needless deaths of those men, I think that just occasionally, men's rights get some attention. Plenty of people wanted that scumbag Peter Whittall prosecuted over what he did to all those men, and more regulations and inspectors to make sure more accidents didn't happen, not just the ones that died but the ones that didn't that still worked in shit illegal conditions every single day without even a proper emergency exit, but John Key and his government were too lazy. This government aren't much better, although they have done slightly more.

Empathy is saved for women's problems. We men have to solve our own problems. Men's Right's activists have been very successful in the last few decades in terms of getting better custody situations, having men's sexual discrimination taken seriously and many other men's right's issues.

The sex strike is a joke. Most women supporting it have no sex appeal. What does a wife refusing to have sex with her husband accomplish other than divorce?
I agree men need to be better about boycotting misandry. For example, every man should have boycotted Gillette after their misandrist commercial a few years ago.

Two reasons:

(1) complaining is functional for women because people care about women. So it can be performative. Just a fun ol' time bitching and moaning and having everyone listen and sympathize. Doesn't matter if nothing happens. For men complaining brings contempt and ridicule and punishment.

(2) Men don't stick up for each each other the way women do. Men are less sexist in other words.

A multimillion dollar inquiry for approx 1500 (over a 25 year period) missing and murdered aboriginal women (approx 85% of the cases were solved, above the average for all other groups) while at the same time 75% of missing aboriginals were MEN, yes aboriginal men were 3x as likely to be murdered and so missing and not a mention about it , in fact a number of people absolutely refused to include them in the inquiry.

Isn't the purpose of a strike to cause discomfort to the authority? A worker's strike hurts businesses and so might nake the business authority to take some action. A sex strike doesn't hurt the lawmakers why in the world would they care? Dumbest thing ever.

Sex strike is bullshit. It isn't going to work. Most of the women who are going on "strike" are the women who can't get laid or the women you don't want to fuck. Ignore it. There's someone on the Left that you really need to learn about. His name was Herbert Marcuse. He was a Marxist "thinker" who is perhaps best known for his idea of "repressive tolerance". Bear with me for a bit, it will make sense. The idea is that leftists need to stop supporting right-wing ideas and movements, no matter how sensible they are. They are to only support left-wing ideas and movements, even if they are ridiculous. Marcuse's justification for this was "the right have had their time in history, now it's the left's turn". Postmodern academics really like Marcuse. So everything that has now been infected with postmodernism (i.e. modern feminism) will have aspects of Marcuse's ideas in practice.

It's quite easy to see why what you've observed happens when you realize this. Postmodern feminists are operating under the belief that "men have had their time in history, now it's women's turn". So... vocally and loudly talk about women's issues, no matter how small they are. And ignore men's issues, no matter how urgent they are.

It's repressive tolerance.

Sex strikes are amusingly anti feminist. Feminists often try to promote the lie that men and women are the same and women want sex as much as men. They also act like they are sex positive. And yet everything they do, from sex strikes to pushing draconian consent standards, to #metoo witch trials and weappmozed false allegations of rape betrays just how sex negative they are. They are perfectly willing to commodify, withhold, and abuse sex in for political or personal gain. Many of them clearly have little to no interest in it at all anyway. The women that do mostly aren't hardcore feminists.
