The thing that I find stupid about it, is that if feminists ACTUALLY cared about women's well being, they would be VEHEMENTLY AGAINST false rape accusations because it is basically crying wolf, it is taking advantage of female privilege, and muddying the water for legit victims of rape.

They wouldn't do that though because then no one would be able to accuse basketball stars of rape and settle for millions of dollars. And Patriarchy.

So, apparently it's better to just blindly accept an accusers word, than to just wait before all the facts come out before making assumptions.

Because the feeling of women are more important than the rights of men. That's why they want to introduce anti-cat-calling legislation in France, why emotional violence is being counted as domestic violence (when it's men doing it, when it's women, it's empowerment).

I've been thinking about this whole slut-thing for a while:

A slut is a woman who has taken on the perceived traditionally male role of seeking out sex, we are told. Calling a woman a slut is calling her less feminine and more masculine. She is therefore treated more like a man than other women are.

Now, I've never personally encountered the view that sluts deserve anything done to them, but if that is what these people think, doesn't it stand to reason that this might be because they are perceived more masculine and therefore deserving of the abuse that happens to them?

Also:

Bob is arrested, tried, and acquitted. In these cases, the justice system is working exactly as it should. An innocent person is found to be innocent, and the horrifying possibility of a man thrown away for a crime he didn't commit is averted.

Yeah, that's not exactly what happens... The investigation can involve things that qualify as sexual assault done to the accused by police; sexual assault and rape in jails are a lot more prevalent than it is in regular life, and between one third an one fifth of men who are raped in jail are victimised within the first 24 hours; innocent men are imprisoned a lot; their names are dragged through the dirt and the stigma is always present (even if they are publicly acquitted) and they have to live with it for the rest of their lives because "no smoke without fire" and male nonces and rapists are among the most hated people in society, being branded as one is potentially life-threatening.
