Personally, I couldn't give a shit about what a woman's job is, but if they feel they can only be happy with a man "on their level", or above, then by all means, let them hold out for the man they feel they deserve. If it works out for them, then great. One thing I've noticed is that women are always looking for "Mr Right". Assuming that such a man exists, what makes them think they're good enough for him?

The implicit assumption in most of these discussions is that people who earn a salary are worth more (the article calls them high value). This is a highly suspect assumption. For most people, going to work means spending your time enriching someone else. I work because I must and would much rather spend my time working on social issues (like men's rights) that are important to me.
