Demonspawn, I am startled by your response to my post. Yes, I honestly think that. The truth is everything, but people need to hear it, and to date they haven't.

The truth is nothing. Listen, I don't say this to dishearten you, but to get you to understand. I've spent a LOT of time on "the other side of the wire" on the Internet. I've been on multiple messageboards attempting to spread facts such as the one listed above about 2% of rape allegations being false. I'm not even talking about on feminist boards, I'm talking about in mainstream, middle-of-the-road messageboards that have nothing to do with feminism or masculism.

People don't care. And when they don't care, they don't even take the time to look at the facts. It doesn't matter to them because it's not even on their radar. You can tell them the truth, but it won't matter until they care enough to consider the truth. It's like leading a horse to water. Do it all you want, but until the horse is thirsty (until people care about mens rights or the social destruction feminism is causing) they won't take the time to drink. We have to give them a reason to drink, and caring about men won't be it....

Here's something you don't seem to understand: while good men were sleeping in the '70s and '80s, a small cadre of feminist devotees concocted almost a religion about sexual assault, based on "truths" that turned out to be nonsense

We weren't asleep. We didn't care. Men sell other men down the river to earn the right to sex. Welcome to the foundation of how our world works. Men are disposable, women are cherished. That is the world order, and there's nothing new about it.

And it doesn't matter what the truths are based on, it matters what people believe. Does god exist? Can you prove it? No? But millions of people have died over wars based on what god is believed in? And you still think "truth" matters?

Perception is reality. As long as perception is created that men are evil vile creatures, laws will be passed treating men like evil vile creatures. The truth won't matter. And, as demonstrated above, good luck changing the perception by "playing nice".

We can decide to be stuck in "catchup" mode where we defend ourselves from Feminist allegations... allowing THEM to control this battle, or we can go on the offensive and demonstrate the evil that feminism is. We can demonstrate the destruction of society that it will eventually create. We can show how the movement and it's adherents are turning men into legal slaves.

Or we can continue to play nice and keep getting phucked.

What changes were fair?

Now, I'll admit some "good" came from the feminist movement. [ed: later I got soundly trounced in trying to defend this] But the feminist movement is all about bending the world to better serve the desires of women under the force of government. What about any of that is "fair" that the rest of the world should change themselves to fit women's desires? Even the vote... that wasn't fair. It was claiming one of men's rights WITHOUT the consequent responsibility of conscription.

Men didn't know it was happening because men didn't know there was a gender war going on. Most men still don't know what "misogyny" or "patriarchy" are.

Because the gender war is over. Men lost.... well men lost back when we evolved into a species that has sex to reproduce. We've never won the gender war and we never will. Men will ALWAYS be considered more disposable than women simply due to the biological function of reproduction combined with the fact that might makes right and numbers make might. Numbers are controlled by female reproduction potential. It's like the marriage strike. So? We all go our own way, and then die off. Society doesn't change.. it just keeps marching towards it's own ultimate destruction. We don't produce young to whom teach what's going on. Why do you think feminism fiercely advocates the mother-child bond? Because those who influence children influence the future.

Men don't need to know what either of those terms are, all they need to know is "how to treat women" and, ultimately, what makes them worthy of sex. That's what men care about. That's what men are biologically programed to care about. That's why men kill each other for women, and very rarely the other way around.

I'd like to say this is about winning the gender war, but it's not. Really, it isn't... the gender war cannot be won by men in anything other than the short term.

What this is about is making sure women don't destroy society and take men down with them. Men, once again, facing the heat to save themselves and, consequently, women. That is the cycle of the world. I'd like to keep this prosperousness going for as long as possible, which, ultimately, means keeping women from getting what they want. Because women getting what they want destroys society: it destroys the foundation of what makes society prosper.

Let me put it in these terms: Do you think Fox is reconsidering "Bad Dads" in light of 5,000 communications from people like us? They sure as hell are. And the other campaigns Glenn has worked on have given companies similar heartburn, and he just gets stronger the bigger his audience grows.. And when the next rape initiative comes along to make it easier to convict innocent men, we'll be ready this time -- the day of feminists winning by forfeit is over. We forfeited the last time, because good men didn't show up. We're here now, armed with the truth.

And those good men will be sold down the river as long as these conditions apply:

1. Corporations think they will make more money pandering to women rather than pandering to men.
2. Politicians think they will be voted back into office by pandering to women rather than pandering to men.
3. Both are convinced that men won't revolt and make points 1 and 2 moot.

Look at HRES 590. Did the truth matter there? You think the truth didn't make it to the politicians? The "truth" is that the politicians didn't care about the truth... they cared about what would get them back into office.

We have two choices:

1. Keep allowing feminists to control the fight. Keep playing nice. Keep losing. Have society implode upon itself. (hey, it'll be a short term gain for men's rights once women HAVE to be nice to men so men will be their protectors during the anarchy.)
2. Take the fight to feminists. Paint their movement for the evil that it is and the destruction it wants to do to men and, ultimately, to society. Expose it for the hate movement that it is. It will be a PR battle not based on truth, but on perception... not that men are valuable, but that the feminists are evil. That's the only way to have a long-term victory for men... insomuch that men can have victory. We will fight those who are fighting us.

What do women want?

They want a system of equality over a system of equity. And that desire destroys civilization. That's probably the biggest one to put your head around.

Yaknow.. I was going to say more, but just about every major difference I can think of comes from that one.

Women want to be provided for. They want equal gains from unequal (lesser) risk.

Women want equal pay, but don't want to put in equal hours, or equal working conditions, or equal by not taking time off for childbirth.

Women want equal representation in government, but don't want to pay equal taxes, or have equal risk to conscription, or equal representation in the armed forces.

Women want a system of equality because they know they are not equal with the top men (and they can't see the bottom men due to hypergamy). And because they are not equal, they can't have equality under a system of equity.

But the problem is that survival requires a system of equity.
